Really good - and I normally shy away from brown rice. Only complaint is that it's rather pricey for rice. Still a good healthy alternative if you're a fan of jasmine rice like me.

I can't fault the rice as I've been buying it for years on my regular order and would have given the product 5 stars if Biona hadn't recently changed the packaging. It's flimsy paper packaging and the clear 'window' regularly rips apart with the rice going everywhere. This may work for shop bought products but not in the rough and tumble world of Ocado deliveries.

The worst rice I have encountered for a long time. I had to wash it out four times. More starch than rice.
No wow factor in the taste but it's still a nice rice and is organic. Cooks quickly.
Glad to read other reviews saying this product is stale. I thought I there was something wrong with me. Last pack, bought about 3 months ago, was definitely smelling musty. I confess I did continue to cook and eat the rice - it didn't kill us. But that experience has put me off this brand.
Been buying this rice for two years and it is usually amazing. The last two bags have been stale and taste off.
Had no success cooking brown rice before until this one. Easy to cook and tasted good. No stickiness or mushy either.
On the website it says Italy, on the package it says non-EU country (without specifying which one). This is not confidence-inspiring.
I use to cook with many Biona products since last 5 years and i am never been disappointed. Also this whole grain rice it is been a lovely discovery. We love it. Nice taste nice texture and also if takes a bit longer to cook at the cause of bran content, it's worth it.
