Oral-B iO Series 8 Electric Toothbrush with 2 Replacement Brush Heads and Travel Case Onyx Black

This toothbrush is flippin’ fantastic. I was super skeptical about spending this much on a toothbrush, but am so glad I did. The actual brush action is next-level powerful, like no other toothbrush I've ever had in the past. Quip, Pomabrush, Colgate all pale in comparison to what this badboy can do. I really feel like I'm getting a deep and thorough clean with very little effort. Is it worth paying the extra for the iO9? Personally I think yes. The app, while not perfect, is actually very good. The mouth map showing where you've brushed works well enough to encourage me to keep going until i get all the spots (usually takes me 3 minutes but I persist because I want to get "perfect coverage"... without it i'd bail at 1:30-2:00 every time). The reporting over time is useful and motivating too, and the warning when you're pushing too hard, while I feel is a little too sensitive, definitely keeps me mindful of how I'm brushing (this is not specific to the iO9 though). All in all, this toothbrush is fantastic and I'm so glad I took the plunge and bought it. I would probably have been just as happy with the iO7 (without the app) but having the app is definitely keeping me more motivated to brush more and be more thorough, so for me that's worth the extra cost.

Oral B i08 - limited edition is a great toothbrush. Although this is my second one in a year as the first wasn’t holding its charge. There wasn’t any issue with a replacement as it was in its two year warranty. The timer on the tooth brush reminds you to brush your teeth for two minutes - it’s gives you a smile or sad face depending on how long you brush your teeth teeth. There are many options that you can adapt the toothbrush to - whiten, daily clean, sensitive etc. It has a handy travel case and the charging point plugs into a shaver point. It would be handy to have a plug which suits your electricity point. The heads can be bought online in a bundle saving on cost too as it’s not the cheapest appliance - £200+

I love this toothbrush. My dentist loves this toothbrush, too. I had significantly less plaque at my last visit. I love the clean, smooth way my teeth feel after brushing. I also like that it tells you if you're using too much pressure. I bought the iO Series 10 for the base. The concept is amazing, and when it works, the process is fun and almost turns it into a game. BUT... The base indicators need a little work synchronizing with the toothbrush. I continually have a hard time with the lower right section picking up that I am brushing in that area and because of this the base will tell me I'm finished with my lower left and lower middle sections before I have even started them. I’ve had another popular brand of electric toothbrush for years and decided after doing some reading to give an Oral B a try. I got the io 9 on a Prime Day deal and can’t believe how clean my mouth feels. The app is cool for coaching the first couple of times, but I don’t use it regularly. It’s good to see where you might not be getting enough coverage to help you adjust your brushing routine. The barrel is the brush head is a little larger, which took some getting used to. I also had to use the sensitive mode until is was used to the rotating head. Overall, really like this unit and got a second one for my spouse. Highly recommend.

Best brushing EVAH

I have had this for a little over a year. I was impressed with the first tooth brushing and am still impressed. It’s like getting your teeth cleaned at the dentist everyday. I have scrubbed my gums away over the years—and no wonder—I can’t believe how gently I need to hold the toothbrush against my teeth! I’d been scrubbing so hard for years. The app helps me be sure I get all quadrants of my mouth completely—I used to space out or walk around and do things while I brushed my teeth—now, I realize the importance of focusing for 2 minutes!!! My only complaint is that I am a lefty, and it seems the app doesn’t always read when I am brushing my bottom left molars correctly. IO toothbrush The great treat for my mouth

I was a typical £24.95 Braun electric toothbrush. Indeed I still have it but I read an article in a Sunday magazine how plaque effects the brain. If you ask me now I still don't understand the article but it took me to get the which best toothbrush at the time. It was my personal treat. Now when I pay a high price for something I tend to keep quiet, I hate others judgement, I keep stum, this brush is like being a new car with leather seats, it's pure luxury and it feels fab, the effect on my teeth is amazing, the options I have I didn't realise I needed and I would benefit from. I now brush my teeth and get a smooth run over with my tongue. Look for a practical charging stand that holds it

Does it work? Sure, it works. It cleans my teeth gently and I would give that 5 stars. The reason I’m giving 2 stars is because of the frustration I have with the design. Why does a toothbrush need to be sleek? And what I’m referring to is the magnetic (if it can even be called that) charger. Since the toothbrush is very tall and very thin, guess what happens constantly? It falls down. If falls into areas I wish the head of my toothbrush never touched. Why not be practical over cool looking and actually design a charger that HOLDS the toothbrush? Is that really so revolutionary? Yes I’m clearly annoyed because this happens daily no matter where I move it to on the counter. Oral B have improved

I was advised by my hygienist to get a new electric toothbrush with a pressure sensor. I opted for this one as it was on offer.I have been using Oral B for a few years. I ordered by click and collect from my local branch. I opened the box and charged it up. I already have the app as do not receive a clock like with my old one.First time of using with the app I was impressed as it shows map of teeth. Has a choice of options to pick ie daily clean, gum care etc.Pros app changes from blue to white when teeth are cleaned. Shows where are over brushing.Cons It is noisier than my old one and replacement brushes are more expensive.Overall I am pleased with my purchase. Teeth feel really clean. Hope next time go to hygenist she sees an improvement

Sonic is the way to go!

Love this toothbrush. First sonic toothbrush I’ve purchased. Previously used electric. It feels more gentle on my teeth and gums when in use , has lots of options to choose from, looks great and makes my teeth feel so much smoother and cleaner compared to when I used my electric toothbrush. Bought at discount price and now purchased 3 in total for all the family. Only comes with one toothbrush head unfortunately so if you plan to share the toothbrush with your partner then you have to purchase additional heads. Have had to pop small stickers on the heads in use to identify whose head is whose as they don’t come with coloured collars like my previous electric toothbrush heads did.
