I am over the moon when it comes to the Oral B io series 7G electric toothbrush. For years I have used a basic toothbrush and after using the Oral B 7G my mind is blown. It's less than a year since I bought this tooth brush but I have had to send it to service a couple of times. he first time was a quality control issue where the battery wouldn't charge. Oral-B replaced the unit. It has been around 4 months since I got the replacement but now the toothbrush head has stopped working as it is intended and the toothbrush head vibrations are very faint now. I am guessing something has broken inside. The toothbrush has never been dropped or handled harshly. Just regular use with the head being separated and rinsed daily. If this is not done, a large build up of grime was noticed as toothpaste ends up getting inside the brush head. Poor and unhygienic design. Definitely not worth $200.

I bought an iO 7 about a year ago. The actual brushing of my teeth works great. Love the speed of the oscillations. Love the pressure sensor. Love how easy it is to clean. I'm not giving up this toothbrush.However, the battery life sucks. Even from when I first bought it, the battery would not last a week without charging. After using it for a year, it's down to 4 days - max. And the most annoying part is the battery level goes from 100 to 90 to 80 to 70 to zero! Just like that. I will finish brushing with 70% left and the next time it will quit halfway through. No indication that it's about to die - it's just dead and I'm only halfway done.Further on the battery, there is no way to check the battery level on the toothbrush except to turn the brush on, turn if ... You spend so much money on the toothbrush and they can't be bothered to provide you with the correct plug. We don't have an old mirror with a razor socket in our bathrooms and hence can't charge it unless we buy a European plug/socket. Really inconvenient to be totally honest and something they should consider to change. Also, not happy about the fact that I didn't get a USB charging travel case with my very ...
