OPI Top Coat 15 ml

I bought this for Rs.876/- While it is quite expensive, it is definitely worth an investment. Quantity: 15ml From experience and through experimentation, I can say that when I used this topcoat, it definitely increased the longevity of my nail polishes that otherwise peel in a few days! For my cheaper nail polishes, I use it as a base coat with 2 layers of topcoat, so that it protects my nails too. They say you can also use this on its own as a nail strengthener. They have included a detailed pamphlet inside that specifies how to use it as a strengthener. NOTE: Use a light hand when applying it and also ensure that the nail polish has completely dried before using this as a topcoat.

Love this from OPI! OPI has recently become my new fave brand when it comes to nails. The finishing base coat and top coat work emmensly and has the quickest drying time I’ve ever experienced! They’ve knocked all my other nail products out the park! I was super pleased with my application process. So many nail salons use the brand OPI and it has been featured in Hollywood movies! Defo give this brand a try girls! It’s totally worth it!

Firstly: I will start by saying that, I have used this top coat (religiously), for probably 10 (ish) years, and don't plan to stop! Secondly: This top coat is pretty amazing (in my eyes) in just about all areas. It is one of the few top coats I have used that dries PROPERLY, and in a pleasantly quick amount of time.... It’s kind of like mani-magic, if you ask me! I am also a fan of the fact that, you don't need a large amount of this polish to get full coverage, which makes one bottle go a long way! Thirdly: I use this a lot just on my plain natural nails, but when I use it as a top coat over a colored polish, I am able to apply it without the base polish being 100% dry... and it doesn't at all affect or ruin anything! It also seems to have a big impact on the base polish (that take forever to dry) by speeding up the entire drying time as well as lessening the chances of the smudges that happen when you over-trust the appropriate dryness of the polish. Fourthly: One small issue I do have, though... if you use too much (or more than two coats), especially over base polishes, it can easily peel off... and always at the most convenient times! (NOT!) Other than that, I pretty much always love the results. I love the thickness of the polish and I also love the fact that its a base and top coat so I don't have to use two different polishes. I used it quite often when I used regular polish instead of gel. I would recommend, O. P. I never lets me down I love the shine for it to be regular polish, it beats the more cheaper counterparts if I should say so. The best thing about it is it stays on for a few weeks and the shines is like diamonds dancing on your color. I don't remember where I purchased it from but I know I used it at home and had salon type results. I'm a very happy customer with this brand.

Doesnt dry smooth- denting and streaking

I normally love OPI lacquers but this top coat polish is just not good. I’ve tried using it the last few months at home with a few different nail polishes and it always ends up looking dented or streaky. This time, I waited until the next day after painting my nails to try to use this top coat and even after 20 minutes of dry time, the dry color polish underneath still ended up dented. The consistency in the bottle is very watery and it seems like it takes hours to dry down entirely. The finish still has a nice glossy shine to it but you can get the same effect from most top coats at a much lower price.

Great IF you do it right

This top coat will be the best you’ve ever used if you use it correctly. The first few times I tried it I was very disappointed with it. Hours after painting my nails, I was still getting smudges and nicks in the polish. It looked as though it was getting smudged and cloudy, and there was no shine. Then, I tried letting my coats dry A LOT longer then I usually would, and I dried them with a mini fan. After THAT, I had a shiny manicure that lasted over a week with little to no chipping. So- if you have the time to let your coats dry quite a long time, and/or an instrument to dry them (fan) then you will have great results!

It never cures

Don’t waste your money. It never cures. I tried it once and completely ruined my manicure. It never cured so it ended up all smudged and lumpy. I could literally rub it off with my fingers like goo even after waiting almost an hour for it to dry. Decided to give it another shot a few months later and the same thing happened. Just tossed it without a second thought. Disappointing for such an expensive brand.

The OPI Top Coat as to be the best top coat I've ever used. I find that it's thicker than any other top coat I've used and that gives the nail polish underneath more protection. I don't find that it takes long to dry. And it gives the finished look a nice shine and glossiness to it. To apply I find that if I dip the brush into the liquid and don't wipe it up one side on the way out that works best. And I've found that only dipping the brush in once per nail is sufficient. What I normally do is brush down the centre of the nail and then do each side and then across the edge to seal the edges because the edge are the first bits to chip. I haven't had any chips since using this top coat. Short shelf life

When I first got it to try, was the best top coat I've ever used. Dried quickly, went on nicely, long lasting, and looked great. My job is very hard on my hands so the fact that my polish could last more than a week before starting to chip is impressive! No other top coat I've used could stand up to that. However, after a few months, noticed it got very thick, and stopped drying... I thought it was my application, but after trying a few times it just straight up wouldn't set anymore, even after days. Worst top coat I've ever owned; thin and makes the nails smudgy and cloudy, NOT GLOSSY

I never leave reviews, but I am so disappointed in this top coat. I wish I could get my money back for it. I have tried suggestions to get it to work, but nothing is helping. It's extremely thin and, no matter how much I let my nails dry, they always end up being not at all glossy and having a bizarre semi-matte smudgy effect that ruins my manicure. I've tried it so many times and have never gotten decent results; I've tried to work with it but no solutions have worked. My cheaper top coats are a million times better, so it's really disappointing that OPI (a more expensive and respected drugstore brand) is charging so much for a top coat that is AWFUL. I don't want other people to waste your money like I did, so please go with a different and/or more affordable option. :) I was shocked, and still am, that a brand like OPI has a staple product that is this bad. I love all of their other nail polish, so it's really shocking that their top coat is so runny/thin and ineffective. It isn't sealing in anything and definitely is not glossy, it totally smudges up the top layer of your manicure and ruins the color (it's cloudy and not see through like a top coat should be). I included a photo to try to show what I mean by the cloudy smudging. I waited ages for it to dry and even used a dryer, and it still ended up being smudged after FULLY DRYING. Again, I have thoroughly tried to get this to work for months and it always loses it's glossiness quickly and ruins my manicure. I have tried everything and am saddened that nothing has helped and will have to get a new top coat from a different brand. It is NOT worth the price tag, please try a different top coat. I would return this asap if I still had the receipt info; as a broke college student, avoid making the same mistake and wasting your money. There are cheaper options that are fantastic!
