Ok, I understand 9 out of 10 people say this case is great. I'm sure it is, but the one I got was not functioning. Either front panel power connector was broken, or the front panel connectors had a short in it. I could not get my system I took from another case to power up. I tried a new power supply, and a new motherboard. Same results, my new motherboard has a power on switch located on the board. I hit, and I got power indicating either bad front panel connectors or the power button. I returned the case for C4000D, everything powered up with new problems using the new case.I don't typically leave bad reviews, but I spent a solid few days trouble shooting thinking it was the MB, power supply, ram, and CPU. I've never had a case power button not work fresh out of the box. I checked wiring, took everything out, put everything back in. Probably put in a solid 12 hours trouble shooting when it was the case the entire time. So yeah, sorry, I'm sure it works great for the vast majority of everyone else, I just so happen to get a dud I can't recommend.

Quality is top notch - and bought two of them! I was able to fit three-140mm Arctic Fans in the front, one-140mm Arctic fan in the rear and a full 360mm Water-Cooled radiator at the top with three 120mm fans. The RTX 4090, a PNY and Founders Edition GPU with CableMod's wiring fits perfectly with the glass closed. The wiring just barely touches the glass, but enough room for it not to bend.It was really easy mount everything and wiring management tracks makes it easy to clean things up. I removed the HDD bays as I didn't need them. Allowed room for the PSU wiring, but trust me, you can make it work with the HDD bays, it's just going to be a bit tighter. This is one of the few cases I see where the rear is mostly sealed up creating positive pressure. I was afraid this would create turbulence and air pockets where certain components may not get enough air, but given the blower design of the rear part of the RTX 4090 FE GPU, it actually insures it only gets fresh filtered cooled air from the front! My temperatures have improved a lot from my old NZXT H710i.The black case comes with a tinted glass and it is quite dark. So, if you have minimal lighting to no lighting; even on a bright day, you will not be able to clearly see your components. You really do need to have at least the Top Fans to have lighting shining down on your components to see anything.I have attached 3 pictures as I bought two of these (one for work one for personal use). The first two (with Purple light and RTX 4090 FE) only has LED for the WaterPump header and GPU. You can see with the glass on, you can't see anything but the light. The last image (with Green light and PNY RTX 4090) has lighting in the top fans itself shining down; despite the dark glass, with this lighting method you can see the inside better. And also, NO, NZXT will NOT sell you the clear version of this glass to you. They only reserve the glass for warranty purposes.

NZXT took all the criticisms to heart with the "bad airflow" remarks and they designed an excellent case.As a PC builder that previously used an NZXT 500, which did not have front ventilation, I have observed significant improvement in ambient temperature, therefore improves temperatures for every component, namely the graphics card.I have a pull-push air flow setup. One front intake fan that sits just parallel to the GPU and CPU Heatsink fan, as to not disrupt the airflow direction.A beautiful case and superb quality. It goes well with my black and white color theme. Very satisfied. It is also a lot larger than the NZXT 500 cases, but it is still not large and bulk to the point where it would take too much room.I have always appreciated the minimalistic ... MoreNZXT took all the criticisms to heart with the "bad airflow" remarks and they designed an excellent case.As a PC builder that previously used an NZXT 500, which did not have front ventilation, I have observed significant improvement in ambient temperature, therefore improves temperatures for every component, namely the graphics card.I have a pull-push air flow setup. Plenty of space for all of my components and pockets in between. PC parts do not feel crowded. Cable management is a breeze. It already comes pre-cable managed. The layout and design are superb. Even larger graphics cards fit with plenty of room to fit a figurine such as a Funko Pop collectible in it.Side window panel and back panel are extremely easy to remove. And the back panel has plenty of space in between for cable management.Highly recommended.

Hands down the easiest case I’ve ever built in!Really should come with more fans since they are just including their super low end basic fans with it. If you’re like me you’re just going to replace them anyway, but for people on a stricter budget, it should come with three front and one rear.First time panel removal is tight, but it gets better after a couple times. Just be careful until it breaks in a little bit. The dust filters are super fine mesh. I’d be shocked if they aren’t the best FILTERS on the market, but they definitely restrict airflow. If you can risk the dust, definitely consider taking them out, if not, expect temps to be about 4/5c higher than usual.Cable management is a breeze with this case with the multiple channels, Velcro straps, and case ... MoreHands down the easiest case I’ve ever built in!Really should come with more fans since they are just including their super low end basic fans with it. They say you can’t do push pull configs in top, but I’m running a 360 in push pull up top along with a 240 push pull in front. Fits perfectly fine. Although, if the front was also a 360, then it might not fit.Overall, I think nzxt has really redeemed themselves for their usually very restricted, hot cases. I hope they keep trending this direction!
Good case for the money.Got the case because I needed to upgrade my video card, however, my power supply in the old case was too small in wattage.I opted for this case because I wanted something other than a black case. Something different.Coupled with white RGB case fans, I eventually upgraded the mother board and processor. The CPU Cooler was too big to put in a vertical mount (Universal), as there was not enough room.Overall, the air flow is excellent. Keeps the system optimal.Would recommend this to someone who is getting started building a gaming rig.My only gripe is the ability to cable manage with a ton of wires. If you are able to, I highly suggest getting case fans that "daisy-chain". That will minimize the amount of wires on the back side of the case.
I am not a huge fan of the white on black look but overall I do like the case.I have built in at least 50+ cases over the years.Pros:High quality metal materials were used.Sale price of $99 makes this case a good contender in the tier.Very good airflow with the opened up front panel.Cons:For the price none really.Things I didn't like - But not deal breakers. Why even include the 2 120mm fans as to get the most out of this cases airflow you need around 6.I would remove the top inner fan filter if you plan to exhaust as it really doesn't need to be there.
Probably the best case I have had to date. The cable management is pretty great, I feel a little more space could have been nice; however perhaps that is on the cables side almost as equally as the overall size of the case is rather ergonomically for a mid size tower. As a person with lower than average fine motor skills I did struggle to get some things together, after some fighting everything is together just fine. If you are like me just take it slow if you can. The price was great, I have been on the side of avoiding best buy in the past. In fact it's been 10 years since buying anything from there as the markup used to be unreasonable. This case late December 2023 was nearly no different than other retailers online.

I got this case as Open Box, and it was like new. The Fans were loosely mounted, but that was all that indicated this case was being unpacked before. Thx to BB for this, a really good purchase. The only gripe I have is a slightly bent front mesh bracket, the is pretty flimsy and not mounted totally flat. Now to the case itself: It is pretty roomy, allowing for two radiators to be mounted simultaneously. Coming from a Lancool II I really appreciate the extra room in the top, enabling me to put my H115i 280mm rad in without the mainboard's VRM heatsinks getting in the way. In the front,I've mounted the 360mm rad of my GPU in a push/pull config (only for the looks, push OR pull alone would have been enough cooling-wise).With the 25mm rad mounted on the outside, it ... MoreI got this case as Open Box, and it was like new. In the front,I've mounted the 360mm rad of my GPU in a push/pull config (only for the looks, push OR pull alone would have been enough cooling-wise).With the 25mm rad mounted on the outside, it allows to have 25mm fans on the outside as well without the blades touching the mesh - IF the mesh bracket isn't bent, that is (unfortunately mine is, I've helped it with using other screws and washers for the lower fan to push the mesh out slightly). For the GPU I'm re-using my Lian-Li mount that I got for the Lancool II. It does fit when making sure the mainboard is mounted as far away from the back of the case as possible as the bracket is quite thick. Also, I had to leave out the movable part that goes onto the bracket depending on where it is mounted. To give it a bit more stability and prevent sag over time I'm resting the bracket on a fan that is mounted on top of the PSU shroud. This bottom fan is a mod that I created as I was missing some airflow around the chipset, the VRMs, and the backplate of my GPU (which has additional thermal pads so it actually does help with cooling). Since the shroud's hole pattern doesn't match the spacing of a 120mm fan's mounting holes I had to develop an adapter to put a fan there. After printing it I just had to screw it to the fan and then "plug" it onto the shroud. It uses a reverse fan that looks good even though it blows air upwards. The air it gets comes from the front, the PSU is not part of the overall case airflow as its fan is facing down.I really love the looks of the case, and that it makes it easy to build in it. Cable management is great, air flow as well, and the build quality appears to be top-notch, too (well, except for that flimsy front mesh bracket).
NZXT has had the cable management aspect of cases down cold for a few product generations now and this case is keeps it up. Plenty of time down points and extra Velcro straps make clean routing easy, the extra space added above the mother board tray makes plugging in the eps cable a breeze.Plenty of fan mounting points, up to 7 140mm fans can be installed and the front panel dust filter is effective without being overly restrictive. All case panels can be removed without out tools, and I’m not talking just the sides, the top panel and front panel can be easily popped off for fan and radiator mounting.Case material is thick, so there is very little flex. Unfortunately it makes the case a bit heavy but not much of a problem since I don’t move my computer a lot.The ... MoreNZXT has had the cable management aspect of cases down cold for a few product generations now and this case is keeps it up.
