NYX Professional Makeup Plump Finish Setting Spray

I really enjoy using it in my every day makeup routine no matter whether it’s light makeup or heavy. I use it on my face by spraying on the sponge to blend my concealer and foundation or directly on the skin between makeup steps and at the end. It helps with smooth application for the products and making my skin very flawless. I would probably add better spraying bottle since it sprays really hard on the skin. The bottle is not bad. Everything seemed pretty satisfactory for me. I would definitely recommend it to other customers as it’s keeping my makeup in place and doesn’t let it smudge. I received “NYX Plumping Spray” for free from Influenster and NYX in exchange for my honest review. I decided to spray the product on bare skin because I read on the back of the bottle that it said it could be used on the face with or without make up. The sprayer on the bottle leaves much to be desired, very much like a spritz from a toy water gun for lack of a better metaphor. As someone with a sensitive nose, I found the smell of the product to be lovely and something I could tolerate throughout the day. One last thing is that I did notice a difference in my bare skins smoothness and tightness, but not enough to buy it just for that. I thought I'd try this NYX Setting Spray because I'd run out of my regular one and this was available in the BH Rewards Room. It's vegan and cruelty free - win win! My bottle says it's made in Canada so another bonus. Perhaps being infused with 5 electrolytes and vitamins - Aloe, Magnesium, Zinc, Citric Acid, and Biotin - is what gives it the plumping power, I'm not sure. So far, I can't quite see so much plumping going on. I may not have been wearing it long enough. Generally I wear setting spray in Summer and we're in Winter in Aus. The only down with this one is the droplet size - I expected a fine mist and it wasn't. So make sure to hold the bottle away from your face.

I’m currently using a different brand of setting spray (that’s more expensive) that leaves my face oily at the end of the day, and I’m happy to see that NYX has an affordable option that actually works! I tried this out for the first time yesterday and noticed a significant decrease in shine on my face. I used a sponge with a light spritz of the setting spray to apply my foundation. I sprayed my entire face when I was completely done applying everything. I was expecting a really light mist, but the pressure was perfect! My make up held in place after eating seafood, which is very messy, and after getting a tattoo. My eyes watered from the spices and the pain, but my make up held in place! Good Setting Spray

I live in NC the heat & humidity has been so awful. I also have oily skin and this setting spray has my makeup lasting! I got a sample size for purchasing a certain amount from Nyx. I am going to purchase the full size. Now that being said there is one con and that is the sprayer nozzle. It sprays to harsh. Luckily I have saved other setting spray bottles that I liked. Just cleaned it out & saved. So I just poured this setting spray into it. Nyx needs to fix the sprayer.

Great all round!

I e used this setting spray a few times now. Being a breastfeeding mother, my skin has been really dry and having a duller appearance than I’d like. This setting spray has really plumped up the appearance of my skin and leaves a slightly dewy finish. I look really refreshed. It’s super lightweight and dries really quick - another great feature for an on-the-go mama. The scent is not overwhelming and the actual projection of the spray itself is pretty direct which is great because it doesn’t get anywhere but on your skin. Very pleasantly surprised at just how great it is!

I had to compromise either on dewy skin (which would mean no setting spray and runny foundation after hrs) or a matte look to keep the foundation on for whole day.So I am really glad that NYX has brought these out (in affordable prices) for people like me. And when I got the chance of trying one, I was overjoyed and expected lot from it. And boy did it serve!!! It gave a nice plump to my skin and held the makeup quite long. Makeup lasted all day!

I received this setting spray as a member of makeup ADDYX community.This setting spray helps with prepping your skin, as well as after makeup application. It also contains 5 super powered electrolytes + vitamin and makes your makeup look plumped and refreshed. This provides a 24H makeup extension and made my my makeup last for about 11 hours and I am in love. For application hold six to eight inches away from the face and then spray and then get a beauty blender and pat onto the face.The overall finish is dewy and hydrating. This is also very affordable setting spray.

Not great

I've been wanting to switch up my makeup routine to something more hydrating for the winter. I picked up the holiday special pack with this setting spray, the matching primer, and a lip gloss mostly because I wanted to try out the primer.Unfortunately, this spray is not doing it for me. It instantly breaks up & separates my concealer, and doesn't give that dewy plump finish that it says it should. It's a shame, because the ingredients sound nice, but you'd have better results spraying water on your face. Would not recommend.

Refreshing Spray

The good:- was refreshing when sprayed into bare skin- my make up lasted throughout the day- skin looked dewy- love the pink packagingThe not so good:- when spraying directly, this would spray large droplets so I couldn’t use to set makeup directly from bottle. Instead I had to spray onto a beauty blended and tap onto face- I did not notice any plumpingAll in all a good product but it does not spray as a light must nor does it give any plumping for me so I probably would stick to my current setting spray.
