I bought this as part of a bundle and used the carry cot until my baby was 4 months old. Now he is almost 5 months and outgrown the carrycot, so we were about to use the pushchair. As soon as we put the pushchair together, we noticed a very hard part in the structure of the pushchair where the baby would be lying. It doesn't feel safe and comfortable for us to have the baby in that pushchair, despite Nuna has come back via John Lewis aftersale team saying there is no fault in the product. It is just not good of a product then. If we had seen this, we wouldn't have bought it in the first place. Very disappointed with the product and Nuna not offering any kind of support. What a total waste of money. We now have to buy another pushchair!

Purchasing a stroller was considerably more complicated than I initially expected. There are so many brands, variations, and competing features. After weeks of research and seeing this stroller in person, we finally decided this was the right one for us.When you receive this stroller in the box, the wheels are removed and there are several steps required for setup. Assembly isn't too difficult, but if you're not familiar with this stroller, it might take 15 - 30 minutes just to get everything right. The overall aesthetics are very nice, and the fabrics and construction are exceptional high quality. While it's a full size stroller, it maneuvers smoothly, is stable, and has a great suspension system. The stroller is surprisingly compact when folded, and even more so when the wheels are detached (which is easy to do). I like that I can easily switch the seat's orientation to either be facing me or outward, and the stroller folks regardless of how the seat is attached. Finally, I also appreciate the magnetic closures for the safety harness.I would recommend this stroller if you're looking for a full sized, full featured, high end stroller that also connects Nuna's bassinet and car seats. Please note, for Pipa series car seats a car seat adapter is required (and the adapter comes with the stroller free).

We have a fairly normal sized car (Tesla model 3) with reasonable trunk space. There are a ton of pros, but I'm going to start with the two most critical items so you can evaluate if the stroller is a good fit for you.The weight is 28.3 lbs. without the arm bar or insert. This is pretty heavy especially when you don't lift with 2 arms. That's a reality sometimes, as your other hand is often occupied. My partner struggles with the weight, and if you have a bad back forget about it!The folded stroller takes up a ton of trunk space. Those huge wheels are an absolute pain since they stick out. Sure you can temporarily remove them but that's just not practical. The stroller appears to take up about 2/3 of our trunk and it is a struggle to get it in and out.Beyond this, here are some things that would be helpful to know. The fabric, materials, and build quality of this stroller are excellent. The stroller looks great, and handles really well thanks to the larger wheels. For the most part, it is a joy to use this stroller throughout the city. Since it's a full size stroller, it is a little larger, so it does become a little challenging when trying to navigate narrow areas. The canopy is nicely made, provides sun protection, and has a zipper allowing it to extend either further. When you extend the canopy, there is exposed mesh which helps add breathability but opens up the risk of sun exposure. There's a magnetic flap in the back that you can also open to peak on your little one if they're facing the opposite direction. What's missing is a sun shade like what you find on the Nuna Pipa car seats. It's difficult to understand why this wasn't included. Since there isn't even an accessory, you will need to drape a blanket over the stroller on sunny days or when you want to shade your little one when they're sleeping. The seat has 5 recline position, including one that's nearly flat. Our tiny weeks old baby sleeps wonderfully in full recline mode, and we tip her up 1 or 2 notches when she's awake and wants to interact with the world (or we simply want to stare at her). Sometimes when moving from recline 4 to the greatest recline in position 5, the stroller locks up a little bit. When this happens, I life the latch a little more and it seems to eventually allow me to put it into place. The seat seems pretty comfortable with the newborn insert, and we feel the baby is safe in the magnetic harness. We sometimes find it challenging to place our daughter in the best spot for the straps, so sometimes we have to reposition her so the latches work properly. Since babies grow quickly, you may need to adjust the straps more often than you think. The reversable seat is fantastic. I love the ability to have our baby facing us. It's pretty easy to flip the seat direction when it's empty, although a little more challenging when occupied. You can also connect the bassinet as well as a Pipa car seat (the latter requiring the including ring adapter). I like the ability to click my car seat into the stroller, but I hate the need of the ring adapter. The adapter is just one more thing in the trunk of our car that we hardly ever use.As far as folding, it's a little frustrating at times. You can indeed fold this stroller regardless of the direction of your car seat. However, the stroller folds up the best and most compact if you have the seat facing away from you. For us, that means when unfolding we have to flip the seat facing us, and then afterward we need to flip the seat facing away from us. If you try to fold the stroller with the seat facing opposite of you, the stroller ends up taking up even more space. The wheels are as wonderful as advertised, and the suspension is legit! This stroller glides, but at a cost of storage and trunk space with the wheels always sticking out. All the wheels are removable, but you're not going to want to do that very often. The bottom storage space is AWESOME. We put shopping bags, our diaper bag, etc. in there. It's roomy and strong and a life saver! We don't even really need an additional bag hanging off the front.Unfortunately, while we've only used the stroller for about a month, we are searching for alternatives because it just isn't practical due to the weight and how difficult it is to get in our car trunk. We've heard the TRIV is 10 pounds lighter and has most of the features of the Mixx Next. So we may end up buying a ...

The Pipa Lite R is an incredible car seat! The base is easy to install, and the car set itself is made from very high end materials, soft, flame retardant free, and very very light weight. We had to carry it up a full flight of stairs to get to our front door and it was a breeze. The only thing that I wish the carseat had was the option to install it using a seatbelt if needed (just the carseat without the base, which the heavier Pipa car seat can). I do wish I sometimes went with the regular Pipa Infant car seat instead (which my friend had so I got to see the differences while in use) the dream drape was indeed a dream which the Pipa Lite R does not have to cut back on the weight (the Pipa Lite LX does have it!).Now.. the stroller left me disappointed. Enough so that I eventually purchased another stroller (from Bugaboo!). The Mixx Next is a beautiful stroller and if you are only pushing it on city streets it should do you fine but I live in the suburbs and even just pushing the stroller over cracked sidewalks from tree roots it was tipping over and I needed two hands to stop it from falling over. The joints on it felt flimsy, it clicked and had movement to it anytime the stroller was moved. Also, I hated needing two hands to close the stroller. I had to open and close it every time I used it due to where we had to store it and with a crying screaming baby that did not want to be put down it made it extremely hard to manage. I longed greatly to be able to close the stroller with a single hand. Finally, once my little one got big enough to use the full toddler seat he would kick his feet down onto the foot rest and there was nothing stopping the fabric from just folding in half. If you look at the foot rest on the Nuna Demi Grow and the Nuna Triv you will see that there is the metal bar foot rest that stops this from happening.
Product is fine but Nuna service is complete garbage. My canopy would pop open from its furthest setting without any warning. Sent a note Nuna for warranty help and they asked for a video. Fair enough. Sent a video and they replied the canopy was fine. It obviously wasn’t. Sent a second video and got the same reply, so I went to Nordstrom and did a side-by-side of the floor model and mine. Nuna STILL claimed that mine was fine. This third video CLEARLY indicated mine was faulty. Finally, a fourth video and a threat to return my stroller to Nordstrom and buy a new from a company that cares about its customers got their attention. This is not what new parents should be put through. Nuna’s abhorrent service level should embarrass Nordstrom. If you want to be treated ... MoreProduct is fine but Nuna service is complete garbage. After lots of research comparing strollers and car seats, we decided to go with the Nuna Mixx Next stroller and this is why:- We live in MN and want the added insulation and larger wheels to accommodate snow and other types of terrain- This will be our main go-to stroller (may eventually decide to also get a travel stroller down the road)- Aesthetically, it’s beautiful- Easy and smooth user experience- We knew we wanted the Nuna car seat as well- While we are planning to have more than one, and considered getting a stroller that expands into a double, friends and cost (to add extensions) led us to stick with a single stroller (never know timing/age gap, if first child will want to still ride in a stroller, etc.)We are still awaiting baby’s arrival, so I ... MoreAfter lots of research comparing strollers and car seats, we decided to go with the Nuna Mixx Next stroller and this is why:- We live in MN and want the added insulation and larger wheels to accommodate snow and other types of terrain- This will be our main go-to stroller (may eventually decide to also get a travel stroller down the road)- Aesthetically, it’s beautiful- Easy and smooth user experience- We knew we wanted the Nuna car seat as well- While we are planning to have more than one, and considered getting a stroller that expands into a double, friends and cost (to add extensions) led us to stick with a single stroller (never know timing/age gap, if first child will want to still ride in a stroller, etc.)We are still awaiting baby’s arrival, so I can’t give a full-fledged review, BUT we did receive and put this stroller together and are very happy with our initial experience.
We were gifted a Nuna Pipa car seat & a Nuna Pepp so I was already partial to the Nuna line but when my son needed an upgrade to a toddler seat & a heavy-duty everyday stroller, I wanted to be open-minded. The things that made a difference for me : all-terrain, near-flat incline, all-weather seat with mesh option. I initially wanted something lightweight but I saw that after a while, a lot of lightweight strollers would start showing or breaking down from wear & tear sooner. All-terrain means I can go from the grass to gravel over a curb back to the pavement with minimal affect on my baby; we’ve take trips into the city & at the zoo, park & aquarium & this stroller “feels” solid enough for multiple adventures. The near-flat recline means my little one can nap during our adventure. It also makes it so I can change a diaper on the go — I’ll put the brake on, slide a changing mat underneath him & remove the bumper bar for a quick diaper change; it’s priceless. My son also runs hot so the mesh seat made it so he could sit for a few hours without being uncomfortable & it feels like it would keep him insulated & protected from the elements during the winter. I gave myself a chance to stray away from Nuna but the Nuna Mixx Next is worth every penny.
I’ve used this stroller for 14 months now and overall I’ve loved it except for the past few months. My son is 14 months so we use the seat that comes with the stroller more (before we used his Nuna pipa car seat a lot with it which worked great). My biggest pet peeve with this stroller are the straps. They come apart which is a big pain when I’m holding my toddler and trying to strap him in. The strap closure isn’t the problem. The way the straps are designed, there’s a strap on each side that slips on the piece that fastens together, but the straps keep slipping off this piece. I’ve been a Nuna fan but am seriously disappointed in this faulty design that makes it challenging to put my toddler in the stroller.Other than the straps, I’ve loved the stroller. Large basket. Great wheels for different terrain. Easy to maneuver even with one hand. Large sun canopy. I like how you can turn the seat to face you or away. My son loves sitting up & holding the bumper bar or putting his feet on it. Also love the full lay flat recline for naps on the go. We used it when my son was a newborn too since it lays flat and didn’t have to purchase a separate bassinet. The stroller with the seat is heavy, but I usually take the seat off separately before putting in my car.Overall, this stroller has been great but the straps are becoming more difficult to use with my toddler. Nuna, please design better straps that don’t come apart so easily!
I bought the travel system, which includes the carseat, the carry cot and the pram. The carseat was hard to work with at the start, I figured as it was new it would get easier with use. The hood feels flimsy and doesn't go very far forward. The carry cot is beautiful. We got quite a lot of use out of it and I was heartbroken once my baby was too big for it. The sun visor didn't stop the sun shining on my baby's face but I've no real issues with the carry cot.The pram seat.. I'm guessing now that I have a faulty one. I've kept the winter padding on over the summer as the pram looks and feels quite stiff without the padding. The hood (canopy) feels quite flimsy and doesn't stay in place when extended. One small bump on the path will spring the hood backwards. When extending the hood, the whole seat will move forward with it, which is very concerning, as the seat should stay in place! The zipper add-on for the front of the hood is a nightmare to actually get on, the zips will not connect. It's an absolutely beautiful pram and I want to use it as much as I can, but I can't help but feel so disappointed at the issues I have stated, especially as the pram was very expensive.
Pros: the only stroller you’ll need, light, folds easy, smooth to push, lays all the way flat for naps, lots of basket space with no bar in middle, comes with shade cover, easy to maneuver in tight spaces, looks nice!Cons: foot rest, hard to clean, straps are hard to adjustI love this stroller & do think it’s worth the money. However, it needs some improvements which they fixed in the new model. The foot rest is held up by a tiny mesh part with nothing hard & doesn’t keep your child’s feet up, they kind of just hang there. The foot rest is more of an issue as your kid will approach two & grows tall. The second issue is the straps are extremely hard to adjust & don’t stay in place at the top so the shoulders fall loose. Another issue is the seat cushion (made for cold weather but ideally you want it in all the time or your stroller looks weird like your missing the cushion) doesn’t stay in place & slides around. For $1000 you would think it would be secured with more than a tiny piece of Velcro that doesn’t hold. My last issue with this stroller is it’s not easy to clean. To take off the cover you have to take apart the bar where the shade cover is & it feels like you might break the stroller so makes me hesitant to take it apart. If you compare to uppa baby I think Nuna pushes smoother, is easier to maneuver & the basket space is more ideal since you have no bar separating it. The only main call out compared to all other strollers is the foot rest which they have fixed in newer models so I would spend the money & get the newer model!
