Nulon Red Premium Long Life Coolant Concentrate is a red, organic additive technology (OAT), Type A coolant suitable for use in most modern technology vehicles that require red or orange OAT based coolants. Nulon Red Long Life provides excellent anti-freeze, anti-boil and corrosion protection and is also free from nitrite, amine, phosphate and silicate making it suitable for most US, EU and Japanese requirements. Nulon Red Long Life contains a carboxylate inhibitor package that remains more stable than traditional coolants, helping to extend service life up to 8 years or 500 000 km, whichever comes first. This coolant is safe to use with all types of materials including rubber, plastics and gasket material and wont become abrasive, helping to prevent seal leaks. Nulon Red Long Life Coolant is concentrated, designed for mixing with soft or demineralised water up to 50% by volume, this will provide the best performance and temperature protection from -37C up to 128C. It is recommended for use in cooling systems that use aluminium radiators and components, if brass or copper radiators are installed, traditional Nulon LL (green) is preferred. The mixing of coolant types and brands is not preferred practice. For top ups, ensure you select the same type/brand of coolant that your vehicle is currently using or select a coolant that is designed to be mixed. If you are performing a complete service or refill, ensure the system is thoroughly cleaned of existing coolant by using a radiator flush. A radiator flush will help remove built up sludge, scale and corrosion while also neutralising any existing coolant left behind, preparing the cooling system for a fresh, clean refill.
