Im blown away. Just got the chair. Simple assembly no problems there. Came in a pretty large box quite heavy, everything packed very neatly. The chair itself is awesome. Im a quite tall guy (1.98 cm) so was worried about the backrest but its the right size. Compared to my old chair this is a definite improvement. I dont regret spending that much money on it. Very happy.

After looking and reading many reviews on lots of chairs. I phoned up Overclockers for more information on the various styles and coverings. I then decided on the Hero Black Edition.. Did I make the right decision yes I most certainly did. The build quality is excellent, very comfortable a nice firm seating cushion, lots of different seating positions. Assembly was straight forward and easily carried out on my own at 69 years of age. Comfort and quality.

Arrives very well packed with a new car smell, who doesn't like that? my last chair let me down in construction quality but this is a distinct improvement. Base is a cast metal frame with solid wheels that move freely on carpet and arent noisy on wooden floor, though i would get a mat or the hard floor wheels as you could dent the wood. What these reviews wont tell you as its alot firmer than you would think. I like a firm chair so that is perfect for me but something to be mindful of. Nice feeling on the material and the arm rests are top notch with plenty of adjustment.A vast improvement of my previous 280 chair for not a great deal more. Highly reccomended.

I spent two weeks looking at a wide variety of office chairs. I am not really a gamer but I came across this model and spent another week wondering if I should buy it or not. After using this chair for a couple of weeks now (9-5, Monday to Friday sitting in it all day), my only regret is that I did not purchase it immediately after discovering it. This is an amazing chair. Very good build quality, feels very sturdy and the finish of the material is excellent. It comes with two cushions - one for your head and another for your lower back. I use the head cushion but not the lower cushion as the in-built lumbar adjustable support is plenty for me. It's a firm chair, but not so firm that bits of you will get sore or numb after a while. Besides, it's better for you back ... MoreI spent two weeks looking at a wide variety of office chairs. It is worth every cent and Overclockers got it to my front door in Ireland in two days.Very happy.
High quality chair and components. I was a litle worried as the shape of the chair is very similar to the one I'm replacing (a lower priced chair of a different brand purchsed through amazon last year) but, for example, the Noble Chair's five arm base where the casters slot into is cast metal, whereas the "cheaper" version I have was plastic and broke as soon as I started using it 8+ hours a day in lock-down). The Noble Chair feels solid, comfortable and moves well on the casters on carpet. The arms are solid, wide and comforatble too. Only had it a day so will see how this one lasts but. at the momemnt. I'm damn glad I opted for this one.
Thought I'd write a quick review after 6 months of ownership.Cannot recommend this chair enough. I work from home and sit in this chair for 11 hours a day. My previous chair caused back and shoulder ache - both of which have totally gone. You'll find the base seems a little too firm when you first get it, but it seems to soften after a while - either that or you just get used to it. The lumbar cushion I've removed as I prefer sitting right back into it - personal preference I guess! Build quality is top notch, and even after 6 months of daily use, still looks brand new! Only thing I will say about it - be careful where you assemble it - it's heavy - so if you need it in a bedroom - carry it up the stairs piece by piece - or get someone to help you - you'll thank me ... MoreThought I'd write a quick review after 6 months of ownership.Cannot recommend this chair enough. I'm a 6ft 2, 19st gut who wanted a chair that could comfortably take my bulk and look good, be comfortable at the same time. The Hero does this and I'm very impressed with how this chair feels and the quality is evident from the moment you start building it. I've only had the chair a week and so far I'm over the moon with my purchase! The seat is a bit firm but I'm working from home 8 - 9hrs a day and gaming in the evenings and find my back is supported and zero arse ache! It took a few days to get used to it but I'm very happy now!In short If you want a chair that oozes quality, is very comfortable and your a big lad buy the Hero!!
Good Points: Really comfortable. Love how I can adjust every aspect to my personal preferences. Would highly recommendImprovement Points: Wonderful chair. The only very minor niggle is that I would have liked padded arm rests
I purchased the chair a year ago, and my back is thankful because I am working from home a lot and the Ikea Markus chair did not cut it anymore. The chair is comfortable (a bit on the hard side regarding the seat but not too much to be annoying - I guess this is a personal preference like for bed mattresses).Pros- Comfortable- Adjustment possibilities- Price / performance- Easy to buildCons- Cushion for the back is useless and does not hold in place well depending on your size.- The chair is heavy
