Ive been using this at times alongside the nioxin coloured thinning hair kit (which was impressive), however I am not too keen on this product. It does appear to make the hair thicker but I would not agree with the shiny hair statement. Would ahree with other reviewers that the residue leaves the hair looking rather dull. I luckily have short hair so cant comment if the hair is left tangly. Would personally not buy or recomment further.

Love this spray for making my hair look thicker, it definitely gives it more volume and just looking better in general. I use it after washing, before blow drying and I find compared to blow drying without using it, it gives my hair so much more volume. My hair is usually quite flat at the roots and I often use dry shampoo to give me volume which I don't really love doing. Very pleased with this product and will continue to use!

This product was yet another one I have tried in an attempt to get my fine hair to look thicker and fuller.Itâs sprayed mainly onto the roots after washing and the hair is then blow dried.Itâs a light textured spray and doesnât leave your roots feeling greasy.I blow dried my hair and found it does give lift and volume to the roots. I have not yet managed to find a product that works so was pretty pleased with this one. It didnât have a great amount of staying power and the volume quickly dropped but, overall, if youâre looking for a good quality spray that will give some lift and that âbouncy blow dryâ effect then I would recommend.

I spray this on my hair after towel drying my hair. I do not spray directly on roots though. It seems to make my hair have more volume and appear thicker. Even my husband commented that my hair looked like it had more body. My hair is pretty fine and thin and the product worked well, didn't make it weighted down like some products I have tried. I use a root booster, so not sure what would happen if I spray on roots. Guess I'll have to try that instead of my root booster to find out.
I used this along with the shampoo and conditioner in the range and the results combined are great.I have definitely noticed a difference in the look but more the feel of my hair. It certainly feels thicker when I blow dry it.I have only been using these products combined for a couple of weeks, so I donât know the long terms effects of these yet.However, I have asked my Aunty to try them too as she has quite severe hair thinning and I think she would be able to notice more benefits. Iâll let you know how she gets on too. For me, so far so good :)
I am very impressed with this Nioxin 3D Styling Thickening Spray. I have thin, fine hair and this styling spray has holding power without being stiff and does not seem to leave a residue in my hair. It certainly stands up to the quality of other Nioxin products. Thank you Walmart for carrying this on your online site.
I have fine, thin curly hair that I've been coloring for years, so I picked the System 3, which is supposed to be for "thin-looking, chemically treated hair". I was initially impressed by how clean my scalp felt after the first use, and it seemed like my hair had more body. In retrospect, I realize now that it was more likely just increased frizziness from the fact that this product was frying the crap out of my already delicate hair. I noticed some hair loss as well, but according to the instructions that's a normal part of the treatment. But the worst was yet to come... It took me a while to realize this because it seemed to happen over time rather than in one dramatic moment, but it definitely happened post-Nioxin use. So now I have a bunch of short hair on top of my head that will literally take months to grow out, plus the rest of my hair is permanently dry and frizzy-looking, no matter how many conditioning treatments I use. So, proceed with caution this system will remove scalp buildup, but may take your hair's heath with it!
I love this product. I bend my head over with damp hair from shower after washing, and spray about 5 sprays around hair fluffing as I spray.there is definitely a difference. I have been using for about 3 years and have gotten from ulta. I would recommend trying. One more thing is that, I do use hot rollers which also help with fullness, but again, it is not only fullness with this product, it feels thicker. Give a try.

The next day I felt like I had to wash my hair again to remove it, whereas normally I wouldnât wash for 2-3 days. I would say this would work better with shorter hair, and maybe if it was for an event or night out it would be really good. I have been using this product along side the 3 step system, and like that product I am really surprised by how much more effective this product is than some of the more cosmetic brands. My hair never feels weighed down, sticky or greasy and my hair is noticeably fuller. A little goes a long way.It is pricey - but when I think of the number of products I have bought which have had little effect, or worse had to be thrown away due to making my hair greasy or dull, I think it probably is worth the money.
