Coffeehouse Versatility meets Pod Convenience with the Ninja DualBrew Pro Specialty Coffee System. Included 12-cup, double-walled thermal carafe is perfect for both hot and over-ice beverages, with an ergonomic handle and spout allow for easy control of pouring. Using a separate line eliminates flavor contamination and delivers clean water. 2 temperature settings, hot and boil, allow you to make tea, hot cocoa, instant soups, and oatmeal. Brew a super-rich coffee concentrate that you can use to create delicious lattes, macchiatos, cappuccinos, and other coffeehouse-style drinks. The frother is also removable for easy cleaning. Choose from one of four different brew styles; classic or rich for a traditional hot cup of coffee, over ice for an iced coffee that's never diluted, or specialty to make a cappuccino or latte. Clean function, dishwasher-safe parts, removable Ninja pod adaptor and frother allow you to easily deep clean your unit.

BEWARE no hot/warm temp feature.

The 3 stars is a stretch and really should only be 2 stars. I have always been a loyal Ninja & Shark customer. I currently own the flip up toaster oven/air fryer, Nutri Blender Plus, ice cream maker, Foodi Possible Cooker Pro and 2 Shark vacuums. Yesterday I bought my 3rd Ninja Coffee. I only replaced my first coffee maker because I had it for at least 10 years and the coffee didn't seem to be as hot but hey I get it and nothing last for a lifetime. My second one (CM401) which I've had for 3 plus years and loved. I only purchased yesterday the Ninja CFP301 DualBrew Pro Specialty 12-Cup Coffee Maker because of features. Mainly the ability to also use Pods and the separate hot water feature. Well I am not happy as they took away a feature that IMO was valuable. Now you cannot set the warming plate to High or Low as my previous models. The coffee is lukewarm at best. Yes I know they say to warm your cup before pouring the coffee but I use a Yeti insulated mug and that should not need to be done in order to have a good hot cup of coffee. I drink my coffee black so I'm not adding any liquid to it. I call CS and confirmed that hot/low feature was not available on the model I purchased. Why would they take away features that people enjoy as everyone doesn't like a lukewarm cup of coffee. Another thing why would they take this away this feature for the coffee making part when the hot water feature you have that option High which is 199 degrees or low which is 165 degrees. It makes no sense. So today I will be searching for a different brand of coffee maker that has the features that I want and return the one I bought yesterday. BTW I've already gave my CM401 model away to a friend that is moving into her first apartment so I will not ask for it back. I guess bottom line it is my fault for not making sure the hot/low temp feature was not available. This has certainly put a bad taste in my mouth for Ninja products and I will steer away from buying any again. So if you like your coffee hot BEWARE and do not purchase this model.

I am getting a 'steaming' from the grounds area and very little coffee is brewing through. I have attempted several times, with K-Cups, grounds, etc., with no luck. I can buy several lesser-featured coffee systems for the same price, although a Hamilton Beach or Cuisinart is likely to last much longer so I will not have to purchase several. To add, I've had about three other Ninja systems I had purchase for offices I've worked in as well. Not of them had had great longevity either. I'm just overall disappointed with the quality in manufacturing of these Ninja systems. Seems to be a short-winded, expensive novelty for the countertop.(I'd have given only one star, but it was good while it lasted).

I come back a few minutes later, the machine is off (like someone had hit the power button, but even the clock was reset) and the carafe is approximately 1/8th full. After a few moments of confusion, I turn it back on, reduce the amount to correspond with how much has brewed, and hit start again but stayed to watch. During these test, I moved the unit to different outlets around the house to make sure it wasn't an issue with home wiring (though it would be odd for that to start now), and same results each time.I've scoured the Ninja support site and the internet for troubleshooting for this problem, but nothing seems to exist except warranty claims; this is not an option since I'm less than a month outside the 1-year.Suffice it to say, I'm very disappointed with the longevity of this product.

Lasted just over 1 yr - stopped working.

Lasted just over 1 yr - stopped working & was just out of warranty. We received this as a gift Dec 25 2022, upgrading our previous Ninja coffee machine. I used this 1x daily, cleaning as directed on very regular basis. I mostly used for single serve coffee but occasionally a pot if family in town - I like that option on this machine. I also appreciated the separate hot water option for making hot cocoa in winter for kids. It has a pod option but I solely used coffee grounds. I also really liked the space saving design on it.Just over a year into using it (Mar 2023), the electronics panel would flash after pressing brew and it would shut itself off or only brew a portion of cup and then shut off. I decided against that as I don't want to spend more money on something that is going to malfunction.I have purchased many different Ninja products but after only getting 1 year of use out of this, I'm pretty disappointed & now skeptical thus looking at other brands. If you're okay spending the money on it for 1 year's use - it's lovely & has lots of great features. Unfortunately, I've been reading online that this is a frequent malfunction of the unit, so I wouldn't expect it to last years.

Ninja DualBrew Pro CFP301 - An Excellent Choice
2 January 2024

This is a great coffee maker/brewer. I had used a Keurig for a long time and needed an upgrade. The Ninja CFP301 does not disappoint. Being able to still use pods for a quick cup while now being able to buy nice coffee grounds to brew up a pot/carafe is awesome. Switching between the pod attachment and filter tray is done easily using a simple push/pull lock and lifting the pod adapter out. Very very easy and convenient. Not to mention the separate water lines. One for coffee and the other for hot/boiling water that you can use for teas, hot chocolate, instant oatmeal/macaroni etc.. I used to hate how coffee grounds would end up in my tea using the Keurig and also how the water was never hot enough….this brewer solves that issue with ease (simple turn of a dial on the side of the brewer). There are several different brewing options and the design of the machine is excellent and is easy to use. Being able to set up the water reservoir either to the side or back of the machine is great for those who may have less space on their counter or nook. I haven’t used the built in frother, but beware: it does not heat. So it will likely be best for cold drinks or you will need to heat your milk prior to using it. This machine has a self cleaning option which is a bonus. ALSO, this brewer DOES require coffee filters if you wish to brew grounds (prior models included a plastic/reusable filter, but not this one—it does come with a few paper filters out of the box). BUT you can order stainless steel or plastic reusable coffee filters designed for this brewer if you wish. There are also reusable pods you can buy that enable you to use a scoop of whatever coffee grounds you enjoy for a quick and easy cup! All in all, if you are looking to upgrade and to have the option to brew pods and/or ground coffee, this is an excellent choice. I do not think you’ll be disappointed. If espresso is more your thing, then you should check out the Ninja brewer designed for Nespresso pods instead! (Though you can use the speciality/rich brew modes on the CFP301 to get something similar using grounds).

So disappointed.

I have owned this machine for almost a year now. I had never splurged on a coffee machine and didn't intend to for this one, even though I wanted it so bad! One day my husband showed up with it for me. I was so happy I cried tears of joy. My joy turned into sadness within two months time, when the machine started dispensing the wrong amount of ounces. It has done it consistently since then. I have poured my coffee into measuring cups to confirm. I make myself 28 ounces of coffee every morning, sometime I get enough for a cup, sometimes, I get enough for two. Sometimes I don't get enough at all. The water is now leaking out of the bottom of the water reservoir and leaves a puddle under the machine almost daily. The single cup has not worked since almost the beginning when one of my children went to brew some tea with a tea pod. It spewed out steam and the lid popped open and since then we have never been able to use the pod portion. The lid of the pod adapter pops open during brewing. I am not sure if I just got a defective machine or if they all function this way but I am so sad and disappointed. I always think of leaving a review, but never bothered until today when I went to brew my 28 ounces of coffee and ended up with maybe only 12. I'm sitting at work with my pitifully small cup of coffee that and decided today is the day I speak up. And yes, I have read all the FAQ, Troubleshooting, I have watched so many Youtube videos on cleaning and tried them all. Nothing has worked.

By name, the Ninja DualDrew understates its versatility. First, the pod brewing insert does what it should and seems more resilient than our previous pod brewers (and we’ve tried many). The pod brewing insert can be removed easily, rinsed / washed and set aside when you choose to filter brew. The glass carafe has proven to be less fragile than expected... The separate boiling-water output has reduced our noisy kettle wait-time. It is a pleasure to have that classic drip coffee scent lingering on a Sunday morning, without having to reach for another coffee maker. The glass carafe has proven to be less fragile than expected... The separate boiling-water output has reduced our noisy kettle wait-time. The Ninja bubbles out boiling water for tea or “instant anything” in a relatively hushed instant. The mechanical frothing attachment is effective, so easy to use and easy to clean. With all the options you have, remarkably, the control interfaces make sense; it offers a wide choice of brew volumes; if by chance you run low on water while pod brewing, it stops, let’s you top-up the reservoir and after restarting, resumes brewing to the selected volume. So far, this gem has proven to be a well-made, well thought-out hot beverage (and instant breakfast) machine. This is coming from a household of happy customers (not the marketers). It has been a surprisingly superb product for the kitchen counter.

This Is A Great Coffee Maker.... Until It Dies
29 April 2024

This was the perfect coffee maker for my wife and I. It has so many great features including a separate hot water line that my wife uses for her hot tea and we can use it for other things like oatmeal. Iced coffee functionality is another great feature we use regularly in the summer season. Specialty brew which lets us get a similar espresso type coffee which we like to use when we make lattes. The K Cup adapter was important for me as I typically just use K Cups. Single serve coffee with the regular brew basket is another really great feature. In short this thing does a lot while having a customizable footprint to fit your counterspace. Now there are some features that would make this unit even better like having a filter in the water container, not letting you ... MoreThis was the perfect coffee maker for my wife and I. Now there are some features that would make this unit even better like having a filter in the water container, not letting you brew if you don't have enough water in the container and having the frother be able to heat the milk would all make this a nearly perfect coffee maker but those are minor things. So what's the big issue this unit has that brings the review down to a 3 star and not a 5 star? The lifespan of the unit itself. We bought our original unit back in April of 2022. Fast forward to just over a year later and we started to have issues where the amount of coffee brewed wasn't what it use to be. For example I'd brew 16oz of coffee in my Yeti every morning and over time I noticed that my cup didn't have as much coffee in it like it use to. I used a measuring cup and instead of 16oz I was only getting about 11oz. I tried this under each brew setting and sure enough each one I'd select would be about 2-3oz shorter than it's supposed to be. I contacted Ninja and was told they could send a replacement unit of just the base, which was fine, but I was a few months out of warranty so I'd have to pay for the unit, which was another $200. The guy I worked with got it to where I only needed to pay for shipping and I only spent about $30 out of pocket to get a new base unit. No problem. Fast forward to April 2024, 9 months later. My wife went to make a cup of coffee in the afternoon and the unit started to brew and then the screen would flash and turn off and the clock reset to 12:00am. We messed with it for hours trying to figure out what was wrong but couldn't get it working. I contacted Ninja and they told me the replacement unit only got a 6 month warranty and we were at 9 months so we'd have to pay $200 for a new base unit. I told the representative on the phone this was getting ridiculous because at this point we're only 2 years in on owning this type of coffee maker and we're now having to get our 3rd unit in that timeframe. She told me she'd see if she could do anything to get me the replacement for cheaper and came back with 2 options. 1 was to get 50% off the replacement bringing it to $100 for a base replacement plus tax and shipping or 30% off a new unit plus tax and shipping. I noted a brand new unit was on sale on their website for $179.99 so the 30% off made the most sense since it made it only $26 more than the base replacement unit. Also the base replacement only gave us 6 months of warranty while the new unit gave us 12 months. I have to say this whole thing is quite ridiculous. The coffee maker is fantastic when it's working but the fact that these things die between 9-14 months is just sad and offering these miniscule discounts doesn't really make up for the fact that within 2 years I've spent over $400 on this brand of coffee maker and they just don't last. Ninja needs to get their quality control in check or offer better warranties on these things, at least 24 months in my opinion.

[Rewarded Review] 100% Great K-cup & Brew coffee maker!
4 January 2024

I've only had it for about a week, and have finally figured out ALL the little things that make THIS COFFEE MAKER STAND OUT. The way Ninja invented this type of product AMAZES me! I LOVE IT! I'd HIGHLY RECOMMEND this if you're like me & enjoy the convenience of K-cups, but also like to brew your own coffee for 2+ cups in a day, and like the ease of cleaning your machine to keep it like new! THIS IS THE COFFEE MAKER TO TRY! Some of the things I love the most from this design is how user-friendly it really is. I like the stickers they put on for first-time users & honestly, I'd love if they were permanent. I need to see what is needed & switching back & forth can be confusing if you don't do it all the time. I LOVE the boil water option that doesn't taste like coffee, ... MoreI've only had it for about a week, and have finally figured out ALL the little things that make THIS COFFEE MAKER STAND OUT. I need to see what is needed & switching back & forth can be confusing if you don't do it all the time. I LOVE the boil water option that doesn't taste like coffee, because it's NOT dispensed in the coffee portion! OMG, I love this has a "DELAY" feature so you can brew your K-cups, or pot of coffee for whenever you want it! I love the open & close feature that allow for a quick cup without spilling coffee as it brews a pot of coffee. I love the storage of coffee scoop & the scoop itself has 2 measurements! I love the frother & how easy it is to remove for cleaning & then self-stores! I love that you have a choice where the water reservoir can swing back & forth, from back to side with a little motion (basic, but it works for the price!) So far, I really love too many features to say in this little review spot. I've been a big Keurig customer for many years, but hate their customer service & disposability of their products (that only last a year or 2). NINJA has a much better reputation, And if you buy from Best Buy you get lowest price offered by price match & if you have a Total Tech plan (sold separately but worth it) your items are covered for a good 2 years!

[Rewarded Review] Great - but not for long...
27 December 2023

This is my second Ninja coffee brewing system. The first one I purchased had to be replaced under warranty for a water leak. Ninja was good about replacing it promptly with few questions asked. Here I am now, less than about a year after receiving my replacement and I am in a quandary as my coffee maker is having yet another issue. I am getting a 'steaming' from the grounds area and very little coffee is brewing through. I have attempted several times, with K-Cups, grounds, etc., with no luck. This is in addition to the fact that the K-Cup sensor is also faulty sporadically and it takes multiple opens/closes of the cover to get the unit to recognize I'm trying to brew a K-Cup and not a grounds cup/caraffe.In summary, although I love the taste of the coffee and ... MoreThis is my second Ninja coffee brewing system.
