To start off the Ninja Blender design is simply beautiful, and all the various colors are beautiful. It is very portable and not bulky for storage purposes. I have several other Ninja products, including an old bullet blender, that I love and think are well made. Bought a Vitamix to get a better blend on smoothies with seeds but I have to make 3 times the amount I need and don’t like ‘leftover’ smoothies. This is a great idea but I only got 3 30 second blends on one full charge. AND I have to use at least 3 blend cycles just to get a half decent blend without chunks and the seeds are still not pulverized. (Yes I follow all the instructions and tips). Went to make a second smoothie and the charge died mid blend. Total waste of money and am sending back. I was excited to try this portable blender because I do have a individual serving and regular blender, but I’ve never tried one that is portable and can be charged. First off, the blender and the vessels are compact and easy to carry. As you can see from my picture, The battery operated blade portion is quite small and comes with a cap for protection. It comes with two drinking vessels with screw on tops, with lids that open up for a spout opening. It was easy enough to use. I just charged once and it was ready to go. I would follow the instructions on the side as far as how much to fill, especially since the first time I used it the blades did get caught. It just required some shaking and then it worked fine. It does not hold a charge at all. The instructions tell you to charge it for a few hours before using it, which is exactly what I did. It actually loses almost a full charge while you’re trying to make a smoothie. It barely blends and loses its power unbelievably quickly. I was frustrated and aggravated over a blender. During the presentation, they probably used very small pieces of frozen fruit and a lot more liquid. If you go by any of the instructions on ninja’s website for their smoothie recipes, all of the ingredients are too much for this small blender. And I have been doing great with about 6 ounces of Ocean Spray peach cranberry juice, a teaspoon of honey, 2 big chunks of fresh apple, fresh and frozen bananas, strawberries, pineapple, peaches and mango, and a few small bullet ice cubes. I haven't tried it yet, but I have full confidence it will do well with margaritas, daiquiris, bellinis, etc.Buy it understanding what to expect and what it's limitations are, and I think you will find the small size, cleaning ease, and convenience to be big wins. And the purple passion is as cute as it can be, so that's a plus too!

I think the price still could have been better and I wouldn't buy this at a higher price point at all. My husband and I put these to the test for 1 solid month EVERY day with our morning shakes (ice, protein shake mix, water with fresh banana) after the recommending fully charge. I hope they can manage to reduce the price point and drop shipping on the TSV then I'd buy again and give for gifts. Nearly forgot I have mixed iced coffee and the way the ice blends is so yummy!
