The Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next% 2 is your fast race day shoe with a full-length carbon fiber plate to help you reach new goals and records. This shoe was built to run fast. Your foot sits on top of ZoomX foam, which is Nike†s lightest and highest energy-returning foam. Sandwiched in between is a full-length carbon fiber plate that gives you an incredibly springy and smooth ride. Ultra-lightweight, comfortable, and responsive, the Vaporfly Next% 2 fits like a glove. The breathable upper locks down your foot at high speeds while a soft mesh is used in specific areas to conform to your feet for a comfy fit from mile one to 26.2. Nike adds some thoughtful extra touches to the ZoomX Vaporfly Next% 2 to make it truly best-in-class. Light padding on the tongue helps reduce lace pressure as your foot swells towards the end of a race, and the laces loop through lightweight side sashes that eliminate the need for an arch band. This keeps the laces from coming untied and ensures a secure fit when you†re hitting your stride. From a 5K to a marathon, the Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next% 2 is an elite racing workhouse with responsive cushioning and secure support.
