Nike VaporFly 4% Flyknit London Marathon (2019)

Feel the need for speed? Then the Nike Vaporfly 4% Flyknit is the racing flat for you. Designed to be fast, light, and comfortable, the Vaporfly uses a strategic outsole geometry and ultra-responsive midsole to encourage explosive takeoffs and propel you into the next stride. Nike's ZoomX midsole foam delivers the most energy return possible, absorbing the force of your heelstrike and returning it at toe-off with the help of a full-length carbon fiber plate that snaps your foot forward for a faster transition. The Vaporfly's outsole uses various lug shapes and sizes to optimize traction and make each step more powerful than the last. One-piece engineered mesh upper delivers areas of breathability and support where you need them most for a comfortable, lightweight fit and feel. Internal archband wraps the midfoot and integrates with the laces, adding support and lockdown over the footbed. Internal heel counter holds your foot firmly in place, creating a stable running platform. Nike ZoomX ultra-lightweight foam is super responsive, returning energy with every step and propelling you to your fastest run yet. Embedded full-length carbon fiber plate maximizes response and speed, snapping you forward with each stride. High-abrasion rubber in heel adds durability where you need it most. Outsole's traction pattern uses alternating lug sizes and shapes to encourage more efficient propulsion and a faster running stride.
