These were purchased as Christmas gifts for my brother's and Godson. One of my brothers live in Texas, originally from NC and I sent him the Tarheel blue one. My teenage daughter wanted this rather than the female versions offered, which were either big and bulky in the arms or too short at the waist. She says this was the perfect fit. She just wanted a straight up no nonsense hoodie. This is it. Decent thread weight. Purchased white.

I bought this hoodie for my 14 year old son at his request for Christmas. It is by far his favorite hoodie. I also noticed several of his friends have the same one, so be sure to put your kids' name in it if you buy it. It seems to be better quality than the cheaper hoodies I have bought him on Amazon. It keeps him warm even when he is wearing shorts in 30 degree weather. It is the perfect addition to any middle schooler's wardrobe.

Said XL. Sleeves were way too short and the bottom fits like a garbage bag.I purchased online so I didn't get to try it on in-store.Dicks needs to include an XL for Tall (longer arms/thinner waists) guys.XLT would be a good name for it.XL is just way too broad of a category.The same thing happened with the fleece sweatpants I recently bought. Both XL and ended up shrinking to my calves. Again XLT would work better.
The newest Nike sweatshirts for women are wide in the arms like bat wings. It looks stupid and is too trendy for me of my daughter. We just want a great sweatshirt for sports and winter. My daughter likes it oversized in a men’s M. She is 5’5 and athletically built.
Have bought two of these hoodies, the former purchase will be my last. These are the comfiest, greatest looking hoodies ever, yet they shrink so much after the first couple washes that they become unwearable. Too many times have I air dried this hoodie yet it still shrank, that first wash solidifies the fact that while wearing this hoodie, you will not be able to raise your arms without showing your belly button.
I’m a woman and ended up buying this for myself because of the color. I’m 5’7” and about 140 lbs. The men’s medium fit me slightly oversized which is just how I wanted it. Covers most of my butt. These are important details for moms. Normally in women’s I am a medium or large depending on the cut- for further reference. The material is nice and I don’t expect it to pill. The color is a little more vibrant than a true royal blue, but not teal or neon by any means. Love it!
We are big Nike purchasers. We’ve been buying Nike products for over 25 years. Some Nike products have definitely have become not so great. These Sportswear hoodies still are the same quality from years ago and I’m glad. I hope they continue making them this thick. They are durable and last through many washes. I even dry them, they do shrink up so be cautious if they are snug when you try them on. The interior is made of soft fleece.
Quality Nike Hoodie. Spacious pocket. Great size hood. Material is warm but interesting inside & out. Laundering is a chore. Says wash inside out with same colored clothes. lt doesn’t matter, you’ll still spend time getting lint & fuzzies off it. The true downside. It will also shrink if you dry it. 4 star reflects getting the hoodie to look in wearable condition after I wash it. It shouldn’t be that difficult. Hoodies shouldn’t be have to be washed separately to avoid this. It’s warm for sure & Nike is the only hoodie my Son will wear. Come laundry day it’s not my favorite piece of clothing to wash.If you want it to be loose I’d size up. It’s Nike of course I recommend. My thumbs down I’ve stated.
I’m sure this is a great product. I have a couple Nike hoodies before this. I ordered the last one (according to the website) & thought I got a steal. What I received was anything-but. As soon as I open the clear plastic wrap, a big whiff of cologne hit me. I noticed the tags were cut off. The color was faded and to top it all off, a 4in. slit down the one of the arms. That was terrible they would actually let someone return this. Thank God the employees at my local Dick’s helped me out and apologized profusely. I reassured them that this wasn’t their fault it was whoever allowed this to be returned worn, used, and abused. Nike makes an excellent hoodie. I’m sure without all those problems, it would’ve been an amazing treat. Buyer beware I guess. Lesson learned.
