Yonex updates the EZONE 100L (285g) for 2020. Like its predecessor, this racket provides the lively and spin-friendly precision of the standard EZONE 100 (300g), but in a lighter and faster overall package. Not only is this a great option for intermediate players, but it should also help ambitious beginners reach the next level. For this generation, Yonex has not only redesigned the cross-section of the frame for more stability and comfort, but also made the hitting surface slightly wider for an even more responsive and comfortable feel. Other new technologies include a Liner Tech system that reduces string friction on the frame for added comfort and performance. This technology also features a tighter string spacing in the middle to ensure stroke control. Greater string spacing further out reduces impact shock on off-centre hit balls. To improve the stability of the frame and optimise the flex of the racket at impact, Yonex adds a uniquely strong and resilient graphite in the racket's heart called M40X. This racket also features a vibration dampening mesh in the handle for less vibration and a cleaner feel. Like its predecessor, this racket feels comfortable, direct and precise on groundstrokes. While it doesn't have the same stability and penetrating power of the heavier EZONE 100, you'll definitely like the speed that makes it easier to get the racket into position under pressure. With the EZONE 100L (285 g), you can also hit out of the barrel or take maximum swings if you want to generate even more pace and spin. The light weight of this racket also helps you when playing at net, and you also get enough power to make points quickly. Aggressive servers might like how quickly this racket explodes through the ball at contact. With some impressive innovations in frame construction and feel, the EZONE 100L (285 g) is an obvious choice for intermediate players looking for an easy swinging racket with phenomenal all-round playability.
