5 of these bought for Christmas, and disappointed, is an understatement! This was all 3 of my kids and my nieces, most wanted Christmas gift, plus this was my husbands gift from me. They've asked for this gun for over a month, was super excited they got it, put batteries in it, and it doesn't handle nor shoot like the commercial made it seem it should. I understand nothing works like commercials show they should, however, the 25 round magazine drum, which is the coolest part about this gun, usually discharges a bullet every 3rd or 4th pull of the trigger, making it to where they have to shoot it 70+ times, to empty the entire magazine drum, not cool!Pros: Looks awesome, holds 25 bullet.Cons: Will not shoot without 4 C batteries. Batteries make the back of the gun too heavy, making it very awkward, but manageable, for my husband to hold, but our children and niece, whom are 12 and under, isn't as manageable. It doesn't discharge the bullets like it should, and it wasn't just 1 of the guns that done that, all 5 of them had this issue. The discharge issue wouldn't be that big of a deal, however, it's battery powered, and you have to pull 1 trigger, to get the momentum built up, then pull a second trigger, to fire the bullet, it will discharge a bullet, then 2-3 bullets won't be discharged, yet the momentum is still going, therefor draining the battery, which for my family, the battery's for all of these cost just as much as 1 gun did. We, like most, work very hard for our money, so unnecessary battery use, is frustrating, and at this rate, I'd say the batteries would last, maybe 2 days. It requires a certain type of Nerf bullets, and they're not cheap, nor will the regular nerf bullets work in it.We are new to the Nerf gun world, as all the kids are just now old enough to safely have fun with these. We will be returning these guns, and picking out a different one, that doesn't require batteries, and isn't automatic. My sister-n-law, bought our youngest twin sons, an off brand, rifle style, nerf gun, and my kids are way more impressed with those $10 guns, then this Nerf gun.

Yet another nerf ammo type that is only cross combatable with this blaster and this blaster only. So - you are forced to buy this ammo that is incredibly expensive - 50 cents a dart!1) Is the ammo better? No - marginally better than regular nerf darts which are widely known as industry worst.2) Is it the most accurate nerf dart? No - if you must buy nerf brand darts, accustrike is quite a bit better. Dart Zone/Adventure force waffles or Buzz Bee Precise Pro or Chinese knockoffs are all better.3) Can it go 120ft? Laughably no - not even close to those ranges.4) Is the blaster innovative? No - it's a reshell of something they already offered in the Alien Menace line years ago. It is prone to feeding issues, has a heavy/sloppy trigger pull

The first one we had broke after using over 1 weekend. The second one jams constantly. It seldom fires an entire round without jamming. It does not rapid fire. You need to wait for the motor to power up before it will launch another dart. The ends of the darts are falling off and we’ve only used it a dozen times. Very disappointed in this Nerf product.

Too big for kids to operate, trigger pull too stiff, causing a jam almost every dart, overpriced, poorly designed proprietary darts which have a horrible ballistic coefficient, so naturally that means terrible accuracy, very weak distance. Also due to the accelerator spooling speed requirements you cant hide to shoot someone as it takes this extremely noisy motor 1-2 seconds to reach full speed. And if you can get a second or 3rd dart to fire the accelerator loses its inertia causing them to drastically drop in speed which means you have to wait another 1-2 second before you can shoot the next dart. Which is fine because it jams so much you have at least a minute between each shot. The more i write this review the madder i get. Really regret spending 50 dollars on ... MoreToo big for kids to operate, trigger pull too stiff, causing a jam almost every dart, overpriced, poorly designed proprietary darts which have a horrible ballistic coefficient, so naturally that means terrible accuracy, very weak distance. I’m a mum of 5 boys so we were super excited to get the Nerf Ultra One as they all love toys like these! I was really impressed with it and think it’s a brilliant toy, we had so much fun playing with it & even did some target shooting with the kids which they loved. They all play Fortnite and they compared this toy to the ‘drum gun’ on the game And said they felt like characters in a cool shooting game running around with such an ‘epic gun’. The only issue I had is that the trigger has become stuck and now the gun will only fire if you manually turn the bullet chamber yourself which is a real shame because it’s a brilliant toy! I’ve tried all of the troubleshooting advice but unfortunately it seems like it’s not fixable, If this is something that happens often it ... MoreI’m a mum of 5 boys so we were super excited to get the Nerf Ultra One as they all love toys like these! The Nerf Ultra One Motorized Blaster, includes 25 Nerf Ultra One Darts. It is compatible only with Nerf Ultra One Darts. A semi-automatic, one trigger pull is one dart fired. It is powered by 4 C batteries, not included. It could possibly fly darts 120 feet, but it will be not accurate. This new Nerf Blaster is a bit bulky due to barrel, but children around 8 years and up, should be able to handle it just fine. These take special darts that are a bit costly, and they don't seem as durable as the standard Nerf darts. This Nerf Blaster has a major cool factor. The rapid fire and motor will appeal to children, and adults alike.
My 10 & 12 year olds have tested this gun. They absolutely love it, it’s provided hours of fun. They own a lot of different Nerf guns, this is definitely their favourite! It uses polystyrene bullets which are far better as they aren’t as flimsy as the usual blue Nerf bullets. They are slightly more chunky made of solid almost polystyrene bullet. I’m sure they will last longer than the usual blue ones that need replacing regularly. However with a more chunky bullet comes a bit more of a punch, when you get hit. So I probably wouldn’t buy it's for very young kids. The only down side to this gun is that the chamber sometimes falls out of alignment, causing it to jam. But as my 10yr old discovered if you just continue to fire, It will unjam itself.
Although initially a little tricky to put together this gun is ace!My seven year old son is absolutely delighted with it. It’s very powerful and he’s had lots of fun discovering just how far he can shoot with it. We did attach a strap to it so he can carry it over his shoulder as it is quite heavy.Being a Nerf addict he has several guns but had declared this is the best one ever!Definitely one for the Christmas list if you are looking for ideas! We have already ordered an extra set of bullets to fill the convenient bullet store in the handles and figured out it’s interchangeable with the scopes from guns my son already owns. All in all, great gun!
Ok this is the best NERF Gun EVER!! Over the years, I have bought several for my kids and nieces and nephews etc! Love Nerf Products!!! But This Nerf Ultra One fun is the bomb of all Nerf Guns!! I’m the MOM and I had so much fun playing with this fun, we were all fighting over who got to play with it next!!! Talk about whizzing bullets!! We had bullets flying and ricocheting all over the place!! We all loved it! Teenagers and Adults!! Now we feel like it’s a must to invest in three more of these Bad Boys so we can have an all out Nerf war!!! Box says it’s recommended for ages 8 and up, and I agree with that, due to the size of this gun, a younger kid or small built kid, might find it heavy to hold or carry around. I think these would make great gifts this coming ... MoreOk this is the best NERF Gun EVER!! Over the years, I have bought several for my kids and nieces and nephews etc! Love Nerf Products!!! The Nerf Ultra One was easy to put together . The main problem was there was a knack to putting the drum in & it was hard to get the batteries in.Not all bullets fired the first time we used it but if they are in correctly they were ok - this is just getting used to the gun.It is the longest firing Nerf we have which made my boys (7 & 9) really happy! I found it easy to use being a Nerf novice. I liked how it felt - my boys could hold and use it easily compared to some of their bigger heavier guns it is definitely overall more compact. It was also quieter than others so hasn’t annoyed me as much! They loved the gold ULTRA lettering on one side of the gun.It came with 25 bullets which fit in the drum but there are more bullet holders on the gun. Overall, we’re very impressed and would recommend
