I somehow overlooked the fact that this product is made with carageenan when purchased. Carageenan is an ingredient that I avoid in any and all food/ingested products, and I was able to find another brand on iherb that has a superior product without carageenan. Aside from that, algal oil is one of the best sources of DHA and omegas you can get as a vegetarian/vegan, and is likely even more beneficial that fish oil as it is where most fish get their DHA and omegas. Why not get it from the source!

Well, i felt it is great as fish oil. Still able to control my inflammatory. But best is put inside fridge, else the soft gel would sticky. The only downside is lack of EPA, else it is perfect. No fish taste, no sting smell. Looks good. Had this product for few weeks already. Everyone 1 capsule.

A must for Vegans and vegetarians. Unfortunately studies have shown that we absorb a much lower amount of these long chain fatty acids from flaxseeds or chia for example , around 8% for men and 23% for women. Algae oil is the only direct source of long chain fatty acids for vegans. I have read that it can have up to 80%+ absorption rate. Much better therefore to get a direct source. And I like this brand. Good value also as vegan DHA and EPA can be expensive. Highly recommend. Also buying Algae oil, you really need to get the recommended amount of at least 500mg at a min for DHA/EPA. This product offers this RDA and I've seen other products more expensive with lower RDAs. So yes great for brain and heart function, particularly for vegans as we dont eat fish.
I'd give this a 4.5 /5 if I could - I only docked a star simply because I belched a gross algae / fish flavor the other day, but I really appreciate the smaller size of these pills. Also, I wish these companies would stop using plastic in their packaging; get with the program! But the pill itself seems to be of a high quality and I took this for several months during my vegan pregnancy.
My only complaint about these is that they are on the expensive side for the dose. Otherwise, I found these very easy to take and of good quality. I do not have experience with fish-based omega-3 products, but I did not notice any unpleasant taste/aftertaste with these, and the capsules are an easy size to swallow. I just wish they were a little more affordable.

This is my second bottle. I like this product because there isn’t a weird aftertaste but the price has risen significantly since my last purchase. Also there was a cotton ball inside which I’m guessing is for safe transport purposes (?) but it was really annoying trying to take it out and I had bits of fluff inside no matter how hard I tried to remove it all. Another thing is the capsules tend me clump together. Might try to look for another product for my next purchase.
I've been buying this vegan Omega from Naturelo for a while, but unfortunately last time I noticed they changed the capsule, and for my husband and I who literally despise the smell and taste of fish, this change was horrible. I can not take this vitamin anymore. Last time I almost threw up 🤭I really liked the capsule how it was before. It was thicker but it didn't smell like this one. I contacted customer service and I'm still waiting for them to let me know if there is something wrong with my capsules
This vegan Omega is definitely my favorite one. My whole family takes it. It's a little bit pricey, but 400 mg in just 1 softgel makes it 800 mg per serving and that is twice as much as you can find in any other similar product. So it actually has a great price. Omega is great for your brain, heart, your skin and hair. I can really see the difference in my current health state. Just take 2 softgels a day with food. No fish burps at all. Like if you find it helpful.
