Nalgene 1L Sustain Wide Mouth Water Bottle Teal

Originally received the item damaged in the mail. The polymailer tore, and part of the screw cap had the grooves all worn down like it was grinded against something.Pretty sad about it since I was looking forward to using it immediately. Messaged the seller and arranged for an exchange at the shop (Marina Sq). Went down, talked to a sales assistant who looked like she did not receive word of this, so I showed her the convo on shopee. Exchanged the bottle without much fuss but it was not pleasant. When I got home and peeled off the plastic wrap on the body, there were plenty of marks underneath it. Sigh. This could have all been avoided if the item was just bubble wrapped in the first place.

I was shopping on Amazon for a nice water bottle so that I can get my daily intake up. This one is perfect for that. If I'm not going out or having anything important to do, I typically drink three bottles worth. I got three different colours and really like all of them. I got one in Butter, Mocha, and Eggplant. The only downside is that some of the bottles don't come with the demarcations while for others, it has peeled away after some use. This is one small but important flaw for me personally.

Everyday Carry

I love tritan bottles; they are tough, light, make water taste pure and put one in mind of adventure every time a sip is taken.Trouble is, primarily being hiking accessories they usually have a large capacity making them a chore to carry to the office or just around town. That's where these 500ml capacity Nalgene bottles come in. They are light, portable and fit in vehicle cup holders as well. They lend a certain rakish adventurer style to the everyday commuter. For years I used sports bottles, which was fine except I travel a lot and they tended to leak in aircraft cabins if left lying down in your carry on. Not these bad boys. Rigid construction with a secure cap - no more damp luggage for me.Bring one of these to a meeting and I always get a knowing nod from ... MoreI love tritan bottles; they are tough, light, make water taste pure and put one in mind of adventure every time a sip is taken.Trouble is, primarily being hiking accessories they usually have a large capacity making them a chore to carry to the office or just around town. That's where these 500ml capacity Nalgene bottles come in. Good functional bottle

Great water bottle. Nice variety of colors. Not insulated but lightweight because it’s plastic. The best part and one of the main reasons I chose this was because of how easy it is to clean the bottle. The cap is very simple which makes it easy to clean and since the mouth and the rest of the bottle is wide, i can fit my hand in there with the sponge to clean the inside which means I don’t need a separate bottle brush. I can also hang it on to the strap of my fanny pack.

Great system

A slim 1.5L bottle perfect for packing into pack side pockets. I purchased this along with the Hardside Hydration swig rig as I needed to double my water carry for a 6 day hike in the NT Outback, and I didn't want to squeeze a bladder in my already full 50L pack. My search led me to PAST Outdoors. The swig rig with nalgene bottle work perfectly for my needs. Easy to swap to other packs and I keep the bottle in the fridge ready to go. Added bonus, the swig rig cap also fits my existing 1.5L Camelback bottle (you just need to adjust the straw height or get a second straw if using with different size bottles).

Great water bottle

I don't usually write reviews for things, but I had to for this water bottle because it's so good!!! I use this water bottle every day and absolutely love the simplicity and durability. When I got this water bottle, I remember something said that it had impact resistance. Well, I just dropped my half-frozen plastic water bottle, and I'm happy to say it didn't shatter all over the place!! For it just being made of plastic, (and also that it was very frozen) I was expecting the worst, but this water bottle held up. A great every day product

Made from recycled plastic: great. Wrapped in extra plastic: not great

I bought this replacement wide mouthed Nalgene bottle because I left mine somewhere on a hike the other day. I've always found these bottles great. This was only the third one I have ever purchased. And...it's the only one wrapped on the outside in a further layer of unnecessary plastic film! What??? How good is this for the environment? One more sheet of plastic that hopefully will go in the right recycling bin at the waste recycling depot. Bad move, maker of Nalgene bottle. This is the only reason I give it 3 stars instead of 5. Great bottles otherwise.

Nalgene - Sustain 1L Wide Mouth Water Bottle Orange

Love this water bottle. It's a great colour, safe Tritan plastic, does NOT leak, and can even withstand heat so it can be used as a hot water bottle when camping. The wide mouth takes some getting used to and is easy to spill when drinking, but it makes this a very easy bottle to clean. I bought this as a replacement for the same bottle I recently lost and was very happy to find this (somewhat rare colour) at a reasonable price here. Fast delivery, no complaints. Thanks!
