Well.. Where do I start I actually got these as a prank. Yeah I know I'm evil but il crack on with my experience. I seen a review on Facebook from aunty nelly (if you haven't seen her go search her she's hilarious) and following a recent purchase I made following her review I thought I'd buy these. The funny mustaches so that you don't rip your actual mustache off were funny af and after a quick rummage through the box I put them away with all my other beauty things and forgot about them. So after a night on some vodka (or all the vodka in my postcode area) I decided to get it out for the fake mustache for a funny picture, before I knew what I was doing with myself I had the wax in the micro.. Btw the wax doesn't melt in the time frame I actually tripped my micro trying to get it to melt but since I was half way in I fixed it and continued to try and melt the wax. I maybe would suggest the double boiler method rather than the micro if your brave enough for these. I don't have excess hair or noticeable hair that needed removed this was done for the sake of a laugh at my own expense. I finally waxed up and cried with laughter at myself in the mirror I counted to 10 and WHACK my jesus the only way I can describe it is feeling like I was trying to rip internal organs through my nostril and omg there was a hedgehog on the end I was yuckin while thinking omg I need to get this other anal probe looking thing out of the second nostril.. Well it was at that point I realised I'd left the 2nd in for to long and when I tugged it felt like my soul was ready to leave my body. Genuinely thought I was needing to go to AE along with my whopping great curly mustache and anal probe looking thing stuck up my nose to have it surgically removed. In my time of panic I remembered I had some after wax in the cupboard (thank good Holy god for it) I squirted it up my nose while pulling on the "puller thing" and freedom prevailed. After using my own after wax in both nostrils and got over my deep shock the product actually worked. It was quite weird actually as I felt like I could breathe better so I must have unknown bushes up there. I wouldn't use again purely because of my traumatic experience but I would recommend using these minus alcohol and defo one nostril at a time. Please learn from my mistakes and I wish you all the best lol

I brought this product after hearing how good it was. Me and my partner both wanted to give it try but what a let down that was. The wax didn’t melt properly. Hairs were still in the nose even after following the instructions. Left them in for the appropriate times with adequate amount of wax on the sticks to have to do again due to hairs still in the nostrils. Even after repeating hairs were still present as well as bits of wax that had to be yanked out. Won’t be buying this again. Very disappointed!!

I’d watched one YouTube video review of this before buying it and the guy in the video wasn’t really impressed with it, but I thought perhaps he hadn’t followed the instructions correctly. So I went ahead and ordered some. As the instructions say this stuff is not for the nose hair higher up in the nose, it’s really for the lower down stuff and the stuff around the inside of the opening of the nostril. The instructions mention antibacterial wipes and post wax calming wipes – there were no antibacterial wipes in the box at all. I followed the instructions to the letter and while there was certainly a good deal of hair on the wax when I removed it from my nose, there was equally as much left in the areas it was targeting, meaning there was a significant amount of ... Hi so I I bought this to keep myself buy while on lockdown for myself all clean and prepared placed the pod “following the intrusions to a tee”in the microwave. Within seconds it started to spark I panicked and turned it off not wanting to electric myself I unplugged the microwave and took the bad pod out. I tried the microwave the next day complete forgetting what had happened and there was a burning smell. I looked inside and the product had burned the cover part of my microwave! Not wanting to use a microwave that might be dangerous I had to buy a new one. The instructions are clean place in microwave take tap off that’s exactly what I did!! Not wanting to break another microwave I have not tried to use this product again.
This kit DOES work. Does its work perfectly well. I strongly recommend to look at YouTube videos if you have never gone through this and much more if you have NOT had it done by a professional. Wash hands thoroughly and make sure the area is very clean. It removes the hair in ONE pull, don't try to pull slowly. One pull all gone, NO pain. Over heating the wax may cause burns. Just be cautious, slightly touch and get the feel. If it doesn't pull all out, wait 24/48 hours and repeat. Target the area you want to remove more. Apply running cold water or astringent and then little triple antibiotic after waxing.
OK, I was dubious and a little scared. It sat in the cupboard for a few months until I got up the courage to use it. It really does work. It rips out the hair that grows near the nostril opening. No, it's not going to get the hair high up in your nose and that's a good thing - you need that stuff to filter the air coming in. It's tricky to get the wax heated up, so you got to keep adding seconds to the microwave, but keep checking it. Don't just put it in for too long, that could make a mess. And make sure to leave the applicator pressed into your nostril for the required time - too soon and the hair doesn't get pulled, too long it all becomes brittle and hard to get out. The cons - it doesn't get every bit of hair, some hairs get missed but you can follow up with a tweezer and get those stragglers. The wax is tricky to heat up as I've said. And it's not painless. But it's quick. And if you do it monthly, it becomes less painful. I end up doing it about every six weeks and I will be buying this again when I'm out. It's quick, less painful than plucking individually, but it can be a little messy. The amount of hair that comes out is kind of disgusting though. But that's on my nose. One thing I do is pinch my nostril around the applicator so I get good adherence of wax to hair. You really want the wax to grab that hair. The stragglers left come out easily with a tweezer, they get loosened I think. I definitely recommend this. Just give yourself time when you do it and read the instructions over again to make sure you got everything covered on how to do it right. I've never had a problem with wax getting all over, but if you have a precarious set up, it could happen.
OK, I did a long review about how this product was good and how it was bad and they decided it didn't meet their standards. It's good, follow the directions! It takes out the visible hair at the entrance to your nostrils. It does sting like any waxing does but if you do it regularly, every 4-6 weeks it's less each time. The wax is tricky to heat up, just keep doing 30 seconds between checking it. I put the applicator in and hold my nostril so the hair gets in the wax. It really takes out a lot of hair. I use each applicator twice, so get both nostrils with one applicator. I will buy this again. If you have a problem with nose hairs, I highly recommend this. I hope this review goes through. I don't know why they didn't like the other review. It did have more info in ... For years Ive been using nose & ear trimmers, or even tweezers to remove my increasing hair problem as I age. On a recent trip to a Turkish barber they asked if I wanted my nose hair waxed so I agreed, was amazed how painless & efficient it was. So when I saw these kits thought Id buy one so I can do it myself at home. Make sure you get the wax nice and runny as it soon thickens, insert into the nose & give your nose a squeeze to catch as many hairs as possible, do both nostrils at the same time as its easier. Leave for 2 mins exactly, make sure you tilt back your head, take a good hold of the sticks & pull them out fast with a single tug, dont be hesitant just yank & it will be painless. I also did my ears using the exact same method. Again, painless & so much better than messing about with a trimmer every 2-3 days. The applicator sticks can be cleaned up & reused to save money, seems a bit wasteful to me binning them each time, but your choice.
Due to lockdown I had to do it myself with this kit and although the kit was more expensive than getting it done professionally it was well worth it. I decided to heat water in a pan and let the wax melt as I saw some comments about microwaves and this method worked fine - just took a little longer than 2 mins and I pushed the top of the wax down until everything was melted. I usually get mine done professionally with the lollipop stick so decided to use those just swizzle a good clump onto the end of to lollipop stick and go about 1cm deep into the nostril (not too high!!) and then swirl it in the nostril and then press my nostril towards the septum then repeat on other side - leave for 2 mins and don’t forget to Hold a little tissue under your nostril before you ... Really gross to see the hairs but feel so much more hygienic and clean ! Lots of waste left over but whatever - needs must in lockdown - HAVE FUN!
Followed instructions and could not get wax to melt after 2 minutes in microwave. Kept trying every 10 seconds and at 3 minutes still not the right consistency. Finally after another 20 seconds wax melted but only managed to remove a small amount of hair and missing the visible hair which I ended up using twizers to remove which defeated the whole purpose of buying Nads Nose Wax.
