My biggest incentive to buy a new phone was the aging battery on my old phone. I have good memories of Motorola phones I've had in the past and the specs looked good on this model, so I decided to go for it. It has been a fantastic phone throughout. No lag. Fantastic picture quality. And the battery is great. It will fully charge in around 40-mins with the supplied charger and last 2-3 days depending on use. In practice I usually stick it on charge for 20-mins every couple of days.I have had this a few months now and have been very happy with it.

I upgraded from a Huawei that has served me very well and although it still works the battery is failing. This new Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has been amazing so far. I got it on offer from JL. I really can't see why anyone would want to spend more when this phone is so highly capable at this price point.- Rapid charging in about 15 minutes. So quick in fact you have to be careful that you don't leave it plugged in for too long.- Battery Life. With the power saver function on the battery easily lasts me over 2 days with moderate use (the phone is turned off at night).- Camera. I haven't used this a lot yet and it will need to be very good to improve on the camera in my old phone, but a few quick snaps seem to indicate it's very promising.- The phone has ... MoreI upgraded from a Huawei that has served me very well and although it still works the battery is failing. This new Motorola Edge 30 Ultra has been amazing so far. A flat screen might be slightly preferable but the curved one is fine also.Overall, this is excellent value and highly recommend.

Very good all rounder. Fantastic spec for the money. Fast. Big storage. A pleasure to use. Great screen. Good sound. The camera spec is amazing but the performance is only good, not great. Perhaps future updates will enhance the image processing and some capture oversights - high speed stills, Motorola? - but overall, this is a flagship phone for mid-range money. Battery life - superb. Charge speed - incredible. HELLO Moto!

After a couple weeks of use, I will say I am impressed and satisfied overall. The phone fits nicely in my hand. The faux leather back significantly reduces slippage. With 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage, the phone flows smoothly. The 888+ processor certainly adds to the power and smoothness of yesterday’s flagship phones. I’ve not seen any stuttering, even when having half a dozen apps running concurrently. Nice job, Motorola.
My previous phone was a monster, couldn't really use with one hand so I decided to go for something smaller, but had limited choices for a snapdragon, oled, wireless charging, wide-screen camera, splash proof, 120hz, dual sim phone, which were my requirements. Only thing missing was audio jack but whatever. The unit is extremely light compared to previous, transferred everything via USB, came with cable and charger, very surprised at how fast it charges, 30 mins to 100%, good accuracy with keyboard, night camera not so good, doesn't have built in GPS. Overall pleased even with these marginal drawbacks.
I like this phone because of the sleek design and the awesome features, storage space and functionality. This phone has no lag like other phones I have purchased so I am really happy with this phone. Charges in less than 40 minutes. With battery saver even using my phone all day I don't have to recharge. It comes with the perfect cover case. Easy to put together, start up and copy all your data over.
Pros: It is always difficult to judge a product and its capabilities when you are asked to assess it after less than a month of ownership. I upgraded to this phone from another Motorola which was 4 years old and nowhere near as expensive. Technology has moved on and this appears to be a very competent device with a bright, colourful display which is very responsive to commands and gestures. There is probably far more to it than I have discovered, but it has done all I have needed to date.Cons: Hard to say when I am still trying to understand what it can do. It is advertised on the strength of its cameras but I have had little opportunity to test these out. When I have tried to use the cameras I did find that taking a photo at night rather disappointing, but daytime ... MorePros: It is always difficult to judge a product and its capabilities when you are asked to assess it after less than a month of ownership. If, like me, you want a 'small' handset that doesn't resemble a portable tv, the options are pretty limited.Having flirted with the Google Pixel 6A, and finding the low screen refresh rate really obvious and detrimental to my moderate surfing needs, I instead opted for the Moto Edge 30 Neo. Great choice! Zippy usage, no lag, lovely bright screen, and I was up and running in no time. The 'professional teccie reviews' for this unit are favourable, but still grumble about the camera capabilities, but no complaints here. So far, crisp colourful shots in all shades of daylight. Way better than my old smartphone.Out of the box, you even get a plug with your charging cable (Hurrah!) and a clear plastic 'back cover' to stop your new toy getting scratched. And a big thank ... MoreIf, like me, you want a 'small' handset that doesn't resemble a portable tv, the options are pretty limited.Having flirted with the Google Pixel 6A, and finding the low screen refresh rate really obvious and detrimental to my moderate surfing needs, I instead opted for the Moto Edge 30 Neo. Replaced a Moto G with the Motorola Fusion Edge 30 as the latestno issues with the new phone as the glitches with Android Auto has disappeared the fingerprint on the front is great as no reaching around the back as before to unlock. Camera function is great for slow mo to analyse my sons bowling action . Comes with a clear protective case and screen protector already on so there is a level of protection from the start without spending extra money. Overall a good phone and with price drop from the original release price it is now a good value for money phone.
This is the most expensive and worst Moto phone I've ever owned. A very annoying variety of unwanted widgets pop up - much more fat finger problems than ever before. My frequent uses are straight forward: calls, texts, emails, google searches, camera, alarms, zoom video calls plus a variety of apps I've installed. Telephone calls dont connect properly, especially if I'm called via WhatsApp, can't get alarm tones only vibrations and none of these probs are listed in the endless and time consuming list of 'support' issues on John Lewis website.
