MONDAY Moisture Conditioner 798 ml

I‘be been gifted these products from @mondayhaircare via @influenster in return for my honest review.. Now, like most others I’ve heard mixed things about this range.. but first, I have no doubt we all can admire the pretty pink bottles!! 💕 💗I have only used them a few times - and since stopped - but only as I shortly after receiving them I finally had my hair appointment, after waiting months, to have my hair coloured, so I’ve now switched to some haircare designed specifically to help maintain my new colours. 💗I tried the Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner designed for dry, coarse, curly and frizzy hair. They have a nice range of ingredients incl. Ginger Root, Hydrolysed Rice Protein, Vitamin E, and Shea Butter to help stimulate and support hair and scalp health, improve strength and volume, nourish the hair and improve elasticity and split ends. The products are dermatologically tested, contain no SLS or parabens, and are vegan and cruelty free. I did enjoy using them… from the easy to use pump dispensers, the pretty pink bottles that are sitting sturdy in my shower, to the subtle nice fragrance - and how they left my hair feeling clean, hydrated, easy to comb out and soft to the touch and manageable too, but I’m frankly not really sure they did anything to reduce my frizz of my curly hair - which is the overall promise of this range, so in that respect a bit of a let down. At $14 each, they claim to be offering salon-quality, but at supermarket prices, and while they may be better than some super market haircare (alas also more expensive!), I don’t find, and also didn’t expect them to be quite at the same level as my twice as expensive usual salon products!

I seen this product at my local Walmart and was kinda excited to give it a try I loved the packaging I’m a sucker for anything that’s pink,blush, super chic and girly. I prefer my HairCare products to have a nice strong scent something I know will last for quite sometime however this product doesn’t really have a scent which was a disappointment to me. But I overlooked that minor flaw and gave the product a try anyway. The shampoo made my hair feel like it was super stripped but the conditioner did slightly add back in a slight amount of moisture. My hair felt extremely clean but it didn’t add any volume to my hair what so ever which was another disappointment . In fact it made my hair feel more limp and lifeless after I had used the product a few times. I only wash my hair about twice a week however just using this product alone I feel as if since it was super stripping to my hair it made me feel as if my hair was super dirty more often than it really was and I found myself washing my hair 4 times a week instead of my normal 2. HOWEVER, I will say if I use the products with my other favorite shampoo/conditioners mixed together (I.e use this shampoo and a different conditioner vice versa) I kinda like them then. I have extremely long, thick hair so if you are like myself maybe just try one or the other while still using your fave products as well if you are interested in this product. I’m not too sure if they have other kinds or other products in this line I’ve been super curious I haven’t seen any but keeping an eye out.

My initial impression of the MONDAY Haircare bottles are that they are solid and well made, they feature an easy to use twist-lock pump, which will come in handy if you are travelling. I received the Monday Haircare SMOOTH Shampoo and Conditioner, which is recommended for dry, curly and frizzy hair, for the purposes of a review. The shampoo has a smooth and creamy lather and the conditioner has a thick consistency, with a light fresh fragrance. After air drying my hair as normal, I found that my hair isn't as tangled as it normally is and while still frizzy, it was noticably reduced and feels softer to touch. My curls are not as defined as I would like though, and I still need to use additional products to achieve a defined curl. Thank you to VoxBox and Monday Haircare for sending me this product to try.

0 Stars- this product made my hair fall out

If I could give this product 0 stars I would. Please read this comment and fully read it. I am so shocked this brand has so many 5 star reviews- these people either work for Monday or have not used this product long enough to see the damage it reaps on your hair and scalp. I have long thick hair and this product made my hair fall out. I started noticing it coming out in clumps and an insane amount of damage. After a month of changing back to redken, my hair is falling out less but still is extremely damaged from just a few months use of Monday. Do not fall for that minimalist and aesthetic packaging. Instead, read about the lawsuits and reviews on Google about the effects this product had on real consumers.

BEWARE SCABS AND SORES

I was in a pinch and was completely out of my usual hair conditioner. I normally use two to three high end brands. I thought I would give this a try having seen it around for some times and reading some mixed reviews, albeit the positives were what drew me in. I am game for anything smoothing since I flat iron my hair frequently. Not to mention the inexpensive price. Boy was I wrong... I've only used this product twice and started scratching the bottom of my scalp, right by my bottom hairline and neck. It felt like a rash to me because my skin felt hot, but I didn't think much of it until my husband was startledBy the red rash and scabs by my hairline and my neck. Builds up in your hair

When I first found this shampoo and conditioner I really liked it and thought it worked well with my hair, long, frizzy from humidity, and fine. After about four months of use I noticed my hair was getting quit yucky feeling and waxy, and I don't use any product in my hair at all. It was definitely the shampoo and conditioner. I really wish I wouldn't have bought the large bottles because now I can't use the product anymore. I would not recommend this product. Also, the conditioner pump broke about 2 weeks after buying. I had to unscrew the top and pour the conditioner in my hand.

Excellent quality

Read the other reviews and had to join in. I have thin frizzy/curly long hair with thicker afro parts on sided.You DONOT need lots of product. I pumped three times and spread on hands then worked through my wet hair. That's plenty. It starts working immediately as you work through hair. It is thin and watery but makes no difference. It just spreads easily and smooths instantly. Miracle stuff and even better no fragrance (perfect for my scent sensitive nose and eyes) and dermatologically tested. Yay.

I revived this product from buzz agent too test and review plus keep for free. Monday conditioner is my new favorite has a beautiful cent after using the shampoo and conditioner my hair felt better than before tons of moisture no tangles my comb went right through my hair with zero knots. Hair was fuller less breakage no irritation at all. My results really improved my hairs health fast had a beautiful shine felt so smooth and softer. Not Bad Not Great

I tried this conditioner out with the matching shampoo for about 2 weeks. The first week I tried it, it was constantly raining here in south Florida and this conditioner was no match for the south Florida humidity and rain- this conditioner didn't help smooth frizz at all! The 2nd week, it worked pretty well at taming frizz but no better than my usual conditioner from LUSH. I didn't experience any more hair loss or breakage than normal while using this conditioner. I do have some issues with the ingredients-- I really dislike dimethicone in my haircare because it takes a long time for me to rinse it out and it weighs my hair down. This is one of the major reasons why I wouldn't purchase this conditioner after I'm done with this bottle. I like the packaging of the product but I found some of the call outs on the back of the bottle unnecessary and it seemed like greenwashing- for example "No SLS" and "Paraben free". Don't really care about SLS, but not sure why it would be in conditioner anyway. Parabens are in such small amounts in haircare and cosmetics anyway that it's not an ingredient that I'm afraid of. All in all, not a bad product but they would have to work on their ingredients and call-outs for me to re-purchase.

This is really bad

I've used high and low end shampoos and this is the only one that's so bad I've felt the need to warn people not to buy it. First off the smell. It's very mild but weirdly reminds me of dog shampoo. Second off since using it I've noticed dandruff in my hair for the first time in ten years. And finally, I've noticed I can no longer run a brush through my hair, the ends are so bad since I've started using this. For reference my hair is extremely curly/kinky and soft/fine with a tendency toward oiliness. I've been using this shampoo for about a month. I don't think I'm picky about shampoo. But this is just bad. If you don't care about your hair becoming unmanageable and just awful, this is the shampoo for you.
