It does not reach the 12km radius in open field, rather 7-8, in the forest it reaches 3-4km with a good reception quality. I bought the set for 99CHF, which I find it is a fair price for the product.

I bought this radios as an alternative to conventional baby monitors and I find them really useful. I love the fact that they can be charged using a cellphone wall charger. Nice battery duration and good quality feel. I'm satisfied with the product.
