Amazing performance. Intel 11th gen delivers exceptional GPU and CPU performance across the board while staying ice cold. The 11th gen surface books is leagues better than the 10th gen. If you can grab an 11th gen surface book, by all means go for it. The surface book is a great platform, and only gets better every iteration. Surface book 7+ is leagues better than the 7 version.

It was amazing the first month then every time I would charge it, it would go to a black screen with the windows logo. I would hard reset it until finally one day nothing worked and now it’s just on the windows logo and wont even turn off. Just infinite sleep mode. When looking up this problem and how to fix it, I realized this happens a lot to a lot of people. Is it worth buying? Probably not.

I was really concerned about the dual core i3 processor's performance but being such a good deal I ordered it anyway. Turns out there's no need to worry. This thing performs admirably! I only removed one star for the 128GB drive which is too small for a Windows computer these days. You can however add a sizeable micro SD card to make up for that. Go ahead and order this thing already!

I picked this up as a replacement for my previous Surface Pro 6.Broadly, physically its the the same as the previous models with one large change and that's the change of the mini-display port to a much more useful USB-C which can be used for connecting to external screens, charging and connecting other USB-C peripherals. It also (via USB-C and the Surface Connect charger) has fast charge which is important as the battery life on this is very poor compared to the old one with you being lucky to get 6 hours of battery life v 8 hours on the equivalent Surface Pro 6Other than that its very much the same device as the Surface Pro 6 which really is no bad thing, nice screen, good stylus support (with the Surface Pen), performance is good following the most recent ... MoreI picked this up as a replacement for my previous Surface Pro 6.Broadly, physically its the the same as the previous models with one large change and that's the change of the mini-display port to a much more useful USB-C which can be used for connecting to external screens, charging and connecting other USB-C peripherals. It also (via USB-C and the Surface Connect charger) has fast charge which is important as the battery life on this is very poor compared to the old one with you being lucky to get 6 hours of battery life v 8 hours on the equivalent Surface Pro 6Other than that its very much the same device as the Surface Pro 6 which really is no bad thing, nice screen, good stylus support (with the Surface Pen), performance is good following the most recent Windows update (I had a few freezing issues to at first).
If you use MS Windows you will appreciate how tHe Surface Pro 7 gets the most out of the software. Makes sense, a tablet built by Microsoft to run Microsoft apps.Bonus: Surprised that it feels like a laptop with its dedicated keyboard AND a pure tablet with is touchscreen and pen.Walmart offered the whole package for HUNDREDS less than competitors.Glad we bought this. Recommend for Windows users.
This item is great if the person has light work or casual use such as streaming Netflix. However, it is not the ideal product for you if you plan to use it for gaming, college/uni documents or online school, and digital art/illustrations. The laptop does lag and glitches often, which can be a hindrance when doing schoolwork. It does not handle pressure well, such as opening multiple tabs, streaming tv shows and zoom meetings all at once. The laptop sometimes restarts on its own during your work on the web and when starting the computer, it suddenly opens its background software programming and the screen flickers during your work. The laptop does lag and glitches often, which can be a hindrance when doing schoolwork. The laptop sometimes restarts on its own during your work on the web and when starting the computer, it suddenly opens its background software programming and the screen flickers during your work. Taking lecture notes or notes in general, the best application for this is Office Notes as Good Notes do not support Windows and Microsoft Whiteboard is also affected by the glitches. When using an iPad, the computer glitches and slows down, especially when rearranging tabs on the screen and the screen keyboard takes up half the space of the screen as well.Battery life wise, it lasts about 5 hours only. Some pro this laptop offers is the convenience of switching between the keyboard to tablet option [once purchased the keyboard and surface pen separately]. Microsoft Edge offers free editing tools for pdf documents, which is great. Overall, it is best for casual usage, do not recommend it for heavy-duty use or you will be disappointed. [Based on my 1-year use of the product for school]
I needed this for travel! I love it! It's not too small and not too big! I use Photoshop a lot. It's good for smaller projects, you may need to make small changes. I wouldn't use it to design large projects. But it's perfect for what I needed. It comes with a keyboard, which makes it almost into a mini-laptop. It's nice and thin, and fits almost anywhere. The pin has a magnet on it, so you can attach it to the side of the screen. If you need something to travel with, this is the perfect small computer.
Very happy with the tablet. But the description and accessories listed was not correct. Stated black light keyboard included. This item was not shipped. Took tablet back to the store and manager on duty verified keyboard should have been included. Manager offered full refund. Or purchase wireless keyboard with a discount. I bought wireless keyboard and very satisfied with Best Buy customer service.
it was very easy to get in and set up to use, I am still adding stuff from my old laptop, but this is awesome. No more lugging around that old laptop. I did worry about the size of the screen, but it's plenty big and I have no problem seeing everything. This came with the attachable keyboard and the pen. Don't know how often I'll use the pen, but the keyboard is pretty cool, however if you choose to go without I don't think its a big deal, you can pull up a 'keyboard' at the bottom of the screen when you need it. There is still a lot I want to explore with this and wish it had some kind of booklet for those new to surface pro so you can explore all the things it can do. I do like that Microsoft gives you a month free with 365 and its an easy set up. Overall its awesome and I can't wait to get all my stuff set up in here. I do highly recommend it.
