Microsoft Series X/s Xbox One Stormcloud Vapor Special Edition Wireless Controller Blue

I like how quickly the controller arrived, but what I didn't like was the fact that I got a used product in which the warranty expired in January of this year on something that I bought BRAND NEW. Upon opening the box it was clear that the controller had been used before as it was dropped on something tan scuffing up the paint on right side of it a bit, I'm beyond disappointed in Walmart.Controller works for now, I've tested every button for function and both analogs for any stick drift and so far nothing to report but knowing that I have an out-of-warranty controller leaves a bitter taste in one's mouth, makes me regret not buying directly from Microsoft, as I ordered plenty of controllers from them, and no opened boxes, no scuffs or scratches on a brand new ... MoreI like how quickly the controller arrived, but what I didn't like was the fact that I got a used product in which the warranty expired in January of this year on something that I bought BRAND NEW. If you buy from a big box store immediately check the serial, see when it was made, and if your warranty is current or expired that way you can decide if you want to keep it or send it back for a refund. Hope this helps.5 stars for the controller being a genuine Microsoft product but 2.5 stars for Walmart for the condition the box came in and for not disclosing that this was a used product.

All wireless controllers take batteries

All wireless xbox controllers use batteries, where that be a rechargeable one you can buy with the long charging cable (included in pack plug and play available everywhere incl mightyape) or replaceable batteries. This is blue tooth technology. The buyer did not understand what he was purchasing. If he wanted a wired controller that does not take batteries that he could plug into his PC (this is not that)An xbox user will know what these controllers are and know what they are buying as every single xbox wireless controller works the way I've described. Obviously wired controllers can be purchased. Pc gamers can use these very easily by connecting via blue tooth. As mentioned above in my comment you don't need to keep replacing batteries buy a plug and pay pack for ... MoreAll wireless xbox controllers use batteries, where that be a rechargeable one you can buy with the long charging cable (included in pack plug and play available everywhere incl mightyape) or replaceable batteries. Awesome but delicate

An amazing controller %26 all other brands have failed miserably with me, specifically pvp. I respect my electronics but wasnt prepared for the night i was eating dinner and waiting on a load screen. Because of this I’ll never step foot in a Walmart

Bought this with the insurance plan for $7 I think, to avoid any issues returning, as my son tends to have bad luck with controllers. Sure enough the controller malfunctioned. Brought it in to try and exchange it and was turned away. I was told there was absolutely nothing they could do and I would have to call MICROSOFT because the insurance doesn’t kick in until after x amount of days. I said ok and told them I would never shop at Walmart again. I am married and have two children. My spouse and I both work and make a decent living. We spend a lot of money each month exclusively at target now. Not looking for a response just thought someone may want to know. Over a $60 controller you lost at least one customer for life (me) and possibly the rest of my family if ... MoreBought this with the insurance plan for $7 I think, to avoid any issues returning, as my son tends to have bad luck with controllers. Over a $60 controller you lost at least one customer for life (me) and possibly the rest of my family if they hold grudges as long as I do. This happened in July, I’ve waited a Few months and it is incredibly easy to not shop at Walmart for anything. This isn’t some crazy right wing cry baby my feelings got hurt type of boycott. This is a call for community resistance against corporations that refuse to employ even the slightest bit of common sense in every day interactions that could slightly benefit the customer in any way, shape or form.

Criminally underrated controller

Man... I've always been big into PlayStation and all of their controllers, but the new Xbox controller is pleasantly surprising. I was looking for a good PC controller that wasn't Logitech, and I never put 2 and 2 together to remember Microsoft, Xbox, and windows are all the same haha. I wanted to get that sweet Sonic controller that they had, it even came with a rechargeable battery pack, but the money wasn't right. With the help of one of the reps, Liam, who's helped me in the past, he definitely helped me come to the decision that it made the most sense to get the regular Xbox controller, but in blue of course. Compared to the old Xbox 360 controllers, the battery life lasts VERY long, much longer than the PS4 ones, even if it's just with regular batteries. It ... MoreMan... It feels very comfortable, although I want expecting it to have that plastic matte feel to it. Another thing I might add is, it is much cheaper than the PS4 controllers and works flawlessly and very quickly with Steam and all other applications. Definitely recommend this as the ultimate PC controller and just a great controller in general.

It's SO Beautiful!

Gorgeous controller! First of all, purple is my favorite color, and this certainly delivers on that royal-purple beauteousness. The shift between the cobalt blue and purple is sublime! I'm a "sloot" for all things space- and galaxy-themed, or anything with a color scheme reminiscent of space/galaxies, so this was right up my alley. My one criticism of the controller is that the swirly purple and black, rubberized grips on the side don't 'quite' complement the metallic shift of the main cover, like the hue of purple is too far toward the medium lavender range of purple, compared to the rich, royal purple of the main cover, but it's still nice. It's a standard form factor for XBox controllers, by the way, so it's obviously comfortable to hold, even for those ... MoreGorgeous controller! (One star knocked off of value, for the $10 premium just because it's a special edition color.)

Might last 3mo if lucky. Defective Joystick Module

I've bought 3 replacement Microsoft Xbox series s/x Controllers since buying my Xbox Series X. Every Controller sooner or later had the same problem! The left joystick would drift upwards. I found out that when you buy a Microsoft Branded Controller via a 3rd party retailer (Walmart) the warranty goes into effect when WALMART purchased the Controller NOT when you purchase it from Walmart. Microsoft gave me an incredibly hard time trying to get them to honor the warranty! I spent hours on the phone with them and sent numerous copies of my Walmart receipt in multiple formats. I dont usually post reviews, but Microsoft definitely earned a 1 star bad review! The joystick modules on these Controllers are incredibly cheaply made and I promise you they will begin to drift ... MoreI've bought 3 replacement Microsoft Xbox series s/x Controllers since buying my Xbox Series X. FYI: The USA is the only country that just gets a 3 mo warranty. All others get a 1yr warranty.

This controller feels awesome in your hands

Honestly I wasn't completely sold on this. The design is a bit minimalist for this price point. I bought it due to fear of missing out. I have the 20th anniversary and FH5 controllers and once the limited edition controllers sell out they don't make any more. (Not to be confused with the special edition controllers such as daystrike camo, mineral camo, stellar shift, stormcloud vapor, etc... ) Previously the FH5 was the best feeling series controller that I owned. The Starfield controller is the new champ. They put rubber on the handles and it feels incredible. Not just the outside panels, but where your fingers rest. Textured bumper buttons and triggers are a nice touch. Even the surface of the face plate has a different feel. Now that I own this controller the ... MoreHonestly I wasn't completely sold on this. Works great, love the red and sweet D-pad

My son goes through controllers pretty quickly. I normally try to fix his or buy him used ones because they are cheaper. But this one was cheaper than the other new ones on Walmart.com and I thought he was old enough now to take decent care of a new controller. So far it works great! Nothing beats a brand new controller. All the knobs and buttons work flawlessly. As far as design, I wish the back of this was red or black, but the white is ok. Just would have looked cooler in another color. It has a nice texture on the handles though - which makes it better to hold when gaming. Also, the D-pad is sweet. It's rounded instead of the cross/plus sign design. Hopefully this controller lasts awhile and doesn't succumb to the dreaded drifting analog stick too soon...
