Great all round tyres, excellent wet weather grip in cornering and braking, great dry grip also. Wear acceptable for a performance tyre.They also stood up to a track evening although the treads did melt and form ridges but these disappeared after 500 miles.

Better than expected

I researched these and other tires on line and chose the Michelin's. The wet weather performance is outstanding. Both ride and NVH were greatly reduced over the OEM Goodyear's. Living in Atlantic Canada you never really know what road conditions you will meet.

Fuel economy not as good as expected

running OEM Michelin tires on my hybrid vehicle and was averaging 55 plug mpg over 3 years (summers only). When I bought this Pilot Sport 4, the ride is good however the fuel economy went down 10%.. now averaging 50 mpg. I have gone 6 weeks on these new tires and put in 3000 km but no sign of better economy. I have better results with my Michelin Ice 3 so.. not sure what to say. Maybe the tread is too agressive and is not matched to hybrid vehicle performance on rolling resistance. I used to do tire testing for fuel economy and michelin was an all star in the 1980's. Oh well.

Good all round value. Very good grip. Little loud. But for money and reliability it's no brainer.

So far so good

I just put these on my subaru sti yesterday. Even in the initial brake in period they feel so sticky and smooth. Cornering is easily twice as good as my original Dunlop tires that I replaced. Braking is a lot better too no chirps or squeals from the tires and no traction control light at least in the dry as it has yet to rain. Brake pedal does need a little more effort to fully apply however. Smooth looking sidewall and beautiful rim protection as the wheel sinks in the tire.
