Very good sander. Powerful, and nowhere near as loud as the Bosch that it replaces. Nice stand for doing bench-top work, although the little fence that attaches to the side is too flexible to make this a replacement for a genuine bench sander. It's good enough for supporting small pieces though and the sander is worth the money without the extras.

Excellent product, solid, well made and does exactly what it should. To me the stand is a big bonus. All at a reasonable price.

This is great, the bench mount is a great feature. Product is heavy, and bit of a beast, but really delivers power. Unlike my other Metabo tools that were made in Germany this is built in China, however, I'm still impressed with the build and quality. Excellent value compared to other major brands.

Having not used metabo before I was suitably impressed.As good as any of the others we have.
My new Metabo BAE75 has been a joy to use so far. As an Arborist who converts as much timber as possible into planks, beams and our speciality, Live Edge Mantle Pieces, I have tried various brands of belt sanders but none compare. I was drawn to Metabo as a brand because when I started Cheshire Tree Surgeons nearly 35 years ago, I bought one of their hammer drills. That drill still serves me as it did when it was new and for me, that equals quality.
Typical of the Metabo brand. An excellent machine. Solid & reliable especially with the soft start and optional speed settings. Very good dust control options and with the added facility of detachable frame which enables the machine to be used for e.g. sharpening wood chisels. Generates confidence.
Appearing tool a little heavy and rude but actually balanced, powerful and well thought: Metabo requires. A finish with accessories that make the difference. Very practical the possibility of transformation into a workshop sander. A small flat on the record a little too limited for my taste..for example how to adjust the power from A to F .. In the same way, the first two sanding strips were split in two by the middle in the horizontal direction without knowing why (sanded surface or unsuitable power? ..) Without doubt the handyman and his tool must learn to know each other.
metabo and excellent in machine tool, this sander and very professional more than 1000 watt, it scour the waxed floors in the blink of an eye (grain of 40) and then grain of 80 and finally the 120 and the floor and smooth like new. Very good material the price is justified. Connected to a site vacuum cleaner, no dust and the sander goes almost everywhere. I recommend this product .
