I have been a customer of yours for many years and I have always been completely satisfied but not this time. When I compare the quality of these twill shirts with twill shirts I have bought from you in the past there is a gulf in the quality of material used. These are quite light (not much better than poplin), do not iron easily and have little body.I sincerely hope that this experience is not indicative of the quality of all CT shirts going forward because if it is, I am sorry to say that you have just lost a long-standing customer.

The Oxford shirts are a disappointment.Firstly I think the Classic FIt has been made narrower. The body of the shirt feels tighter around the chest and shoulders. The fabric has a stretch element which I don't care for: I prefer a shirt with a generous fit to one that is tight but will stetch a bit in the tight places!Secondly I prefer pure cotton to a cotton-stretch fabric blend. I have to ask: why is CT introcucing stretch materials in place of what it has been admired for - beautiful, pure cotton fabrics?Thirdly the shirts now have six front buttons. I preferred the generous length and fit of the traditional seven front button CT shirt. In the past I have bought many garments and several pairs of shoes from CT and have been totally satisfied. Not yet worn but packaging very poor. Not as expected and experienced before, there was no collar stiffening at all used in the packaging. Consequently the shirt as seen through the plastic bag looked very creased and very cheap. More like something from s discount store!

My husband finally had a chance to wear the button down cotton long sleeve shirt, as it finally turned cool here in Southern CA. It’s so soft and warm. This style of shirt is one he wears often but this is the first one from Charles Trywitt and it clearly is superior to the ones he’s been wearing. The softness of the cotton is so comfortable. And it’s heavier fabric so it should last longer than his old ones. It looks really good on. Classy dress shirt.
In 2019, I ordered 4 shirts (wuk05872856) of which 2 were made in India, 1 in China and the other in Malaysia. The quality was very good, certainly worth £21:95 each, and this encouraged me to buy 8 more this year (wuk09135836) with 6 made in China and 2 in Vietnam at £34:75 each. I have been extremely disappointed with the quality of all the shirts, as the material is noticeably thinner and the collars are smaller and quite limp. Any association with Jermyn Street comes under the trade’s description act! At best, I could only give 2 stars but, at more than £30, probably 1.5 stars. They are just too thin and the collars should not be crumpled – they should be like the ones bought in 2019.I think all websites should show where a product is made – unfortunately, I ... MoreIn 2019, I ordered 4 shirts (wuk05872856) of which 2 were made in India, 1 in China and the other in Malaysia. I liked this shirt a lot! Unfortunately, the sleeves were not long enough for me. I ordered a large. The body was good but the sleeves were about 2 inches too short,For reference I’m 6’3 and normally wear a 36/37 sleeve length.
Bought these Oxford shirts for my son’s work placement. They are casual yet smart! The fabric quality is excellent. The Large fits perfectly - he’s a slim 6’4” with broad shoulders. Thank you CT.
First CT purchase. Top quality shirts and exemplary customer service. Was able to speak to a real (and helpful) person on the phone immediately to amend a size detail (my mistake). Best service I have ever encountered, and I was purchasing from the other side of the world - Australia. Love the shirts. Thank you.
This was to replace an old Oxford shirt I had. The quality of the shirt is not as good. The previous one was much better being a heavier cotton and had a lined collar. Also came with a pocket as standard. I like a pocket to put my reading glasses in so added a pocket as an extra to the new shirt. Apart from the pocket being to high it also just covered the motif so when I put my glasses in the top of the motif is visible and does not look right.
I bought a bunch of shirts from the store prior to labor day. On labor day, a few days later, they went on sale, and the sales staff at the store gave me a hard time about matching the price. They scoffed at me, like I was wasting their time, and my request was unreasonable to the point they made me feel unwelcome. I would not return.
