I bought this chair when my baby started weaning. It is really comfortable for him and a beautiful design. However, it gets really dirty as it's not a wipe clean material. I have been trying to clean the newborn insert ready for baby number 2 for weeks and it retains soap and water but also stains, it is covered in water marks from being so slow to dry, and is generally in poor condition now. I am trying to buy a new one but they don't seem to be available anywhere. Without the insert, the chair is marginally easier to clean but still gets food stuck in hard to reach places. (The chair is not suitable to use if the cover is off and it uncovers all the plastic mechanisms underneath).A downside to all the positions it can get into, is that there are a lot of "indents" and lines in the plastic frame. This means that any food like porridge/pouches/mashed anything can get stuck in these crevices. I use a sharp knife and toothbrush on a regular basis to make sure that these are cleaned.Overall, a lovely looking and comfortable highchair, with many functions....but incredibly high maintenance.

Its very bulky, the tray difficult to hang on the stands still can’t figure it out after 5month.. the wheels being at front doest make sense, once received thought it was a manufacturer mistake.. its too heavy to move around.It folds but not staying unless its leaning against the wall..the 2 stars are for 1)being able to remove the plastic tray top to wash,2) the chair adjustment.Definitely not recommend. Especially for a smaller kitchen . Hopefully will be able to sell it but will be in loss..

You can easily enjoy some new hobbies "wash the chair with a teeth brush"...like nothing else to do!The inline for a baby is cotton...cotton! Be ready to wash it at least once per day. The cover of the chair is water-resistant. Designer team, have you considered that kids eat vegetable purees which often have some oils? Of course, one can easily wipe away a carrot puree end enjoy the new design with happy orange stains. I should notice that they are easy to wash, but they are relatively big, so they occupy a lot of space in a washing machine, and you need to find someplace to dry them too (gladly, they dry relatively quick).This chair requires a lot of effort to keep it neat and clean, just as a lot of time/electricity/water.Positive: it looks lovely and fits the other furniture, but it doesn't matter much anymore. It lokks comfortable for kids.I would recommend a more economy Ikea version or more expensive but less complicated to care Stokke.
I bought this chair and I so regret not buying another brand as the Maxi-Cosi Minla high chair does not clean easily and it shows stains. The fabric is washable, but we cannot wash it every time the baby uses it! and it is hard to remove the fabric. Also, the inside cushion is not water resistant at all!! The wheel also would not be completely locked on the floor. So, overall, I won't recommend this to anyone.

The chair is great till the baby starts feeding them selfs!I have to ritually wash the chair covers every day and thats just not what you wanna do .When i received i wasn’t impressed because of the heaviness and the wheels being at the back.. thats something that still after 6 month doesn’t make sense! .. but was very happy that i could adjust to my daughters sitting position .. thats it.. now to clean and wash the chair every day it takes a lot of time during the meals..so not recommend. Need something without the fabrics so its easy to wipe it off .. and this is not the case..

I find it really handy that the tray can be placed on the legs and it really helps you can fold it up so easily. I am so in love with this highchair. I couldn't believe it would go up to 6 years old, but my 4 year old is so comfortable in it with plenty of room to spare. I mainly used it with my 11month old. The straps are fantasticly secure and don't restrict her, but help her to sit up straight for her food but also be able to reach the tray. My favourite part is how easy it is to clean, we used to have an all singing and dancing highchair that ended up being a nightmare to clean and dry etc, the Minla is completely different to that. Food barely sticks to the waterproof fabric anyway, but it just wipes off with very little effort. On the odd occasion that it needs a good clean, you can just stick it in the wash! I feel a lot of research has been put into the pros and cons of similar models and the Minla has been designed with this in mind in my opinion. I also love the look of it, the colour is lovely and neutral and its really stylish to look at. It's lovely to have such a practical but also nice to look at highchair in the kitchen. Absolutely deserves 5 stars, highly recommended.
We bought this for our daughter as we thought we needed a "from birth" high chair. In hindsight, it would have been better to wait til she could sit and got a simpler design. What I liked: The tray insert means you can quickly remove the food from the baby when they start throwing food. Also the reclining seat was helpful when she fell asleep in the chair (which happened about 5 times in 2 years). What I did not like: clunky design means the chair takes up a lot of space. Fiddly to clean: we stopped using the padded cover (just had bare chair) as it gets dirty easily. Even that was not satisfactory as there were a lot of nooks and crannies where dirt could collect.
