Understanding how exercise influences health is important in designing public health interventions. At present, evidence suggests that there is a positive relationship between exercise and health. However, whether this relationship is partly due to the stress-moderating impact of exercise has been less frequently investigated although more and more people are taxed by stressful life circumstances. A comprehensive review of studies testing the potential of exercise as a stress-buffer was conducted (including literature from 1982 to 2008). The findings are based on a narrative review method.

Comfortable & gentle on feet. Good for diabetics

Comfortable to wear. I use them as slippers. Easy to keep clean, just wipe. Check sizing carefully. I’m normally a size 9 but had to order size 7, which fit perfectly. Smooth footbed with no rubbing ,so they’re good for diabetics.

Cork Soles

I have been wearing the gentle type of sandals, daily, for over 20 years, but in recent years the cork sole starts to disintegrate within weeks. I took a new pair on a two week holiday with me. Wore them daily from day two and by the time my holiday was over the cork had already started breaking up. This has happened with every pair I have bought since the cork ones appeared on the market. Otherwise, they are comfortable to wear, if not stylish! I tried to include a photograph but unable to do so under 2 “Add Images”!

HAPPY FEET!

Just how I remembered them! I have been unable to buy Maseur sandals for years. Thought they were out of production. Unimpressed by what is currently on the market! Found Maseur online. Ordered two pair. What a difference a shoe makes! Arrived in four days, fit perfect, comfort 10 out of 10. I'm happy and I have HAPPY FEET again.

I love my new limited edition maseur sandals

I love my new tan Maseur sandals and now own them in every colour available. I suffered with plantar facitis until I started wearing Maseur sandals and am now pain free and I can walk, exercise and travel again. I now recommend them to everyone! McPhersons service was great and my sandals were delivered within days!

Maseur sandals

Disappointing. Have worn these original sandals for 50yrs with a full cork sole but now they are a poor imitation of the original. While their comfort is good, the cork layer peeled off within a week. They look untidy with parts of the sole missing.

New Colour!

The colour is darker on the actual product than in the photo. Hopefully they last longer than my last pair. I’ve been wearing these sandals for years and the quality seems to be slipping. Giving them another chance in the hope that they are as robust as the ones produced in years gone by.

Poor quality

The quality of these maseur sandals is very poor. After only wearing twice around the house, bits of cork started breaking off around the edges of the soles. That's when I realised the cork on the soles is just a very thin layer. I would never buy these again, nor recommend to others.

Poor quality - Lastest only a few days

Have contacted Chemist Warehouse twice to try and return Sandals that I bought online however they have not replied. I have only worn the shoes a couple of times and the cork has all disintegrated both in the main shoe and around the edges. The cork is thinner than paper. I have been purchasing these for years but have never seen the quality this bad before nor the lack of contact from Chemist Warehouse to exchange for another pair to see if it was just a faulty pair or for a refund.

Terrible quality - sole chips off immediately

The edges of these chipped off and went white within 2 days and I never even wore them away from the house yet! So they’re now permanent house backyard slippers. Extra annoying - I was searching for the massage ones with nodules and didn’t even realise these flat sole type existed, accidentally bought them and Chemist Warehouse won’t let me return them. No store in Sydney will exchange them. Such a waste of money.
