I bought this on the weekend and the umbrella was completely stuffed within a couple days. I went outside and some of the poles were on the ground or poking through the top, none where they should be. The amount of effort alone in setting it up and trying to get it all back in the box a few days later was nothing worth the money, the injury on my finger setting it up lasted longer than the umbrella! Thankfully I was able to take it back for a full refund.

While the umbrella works a charm the position of the umbrella in relation to the base is not usually apparent until the shade assembly is mounted on the base itself. At this point you may need to rotate the base to suit the position required for maximum shade. Having erected two umbrellas I’ve found the most appropriate base weights is the 4-pack water-filled option. Concrete pavers as weights are effective but heavy and cumbersome. Save your back and use the plastic water-filled option.

This Umbrella was so cheap I thought it was a pricing mistake! It works fine, keeps the sun off and the canterlever mechinism seems to the same as Umbrellas costing much more. Now I have had it for a few weeks I suspect it will fall apart before it reaches the 12 month warranty. Already the chrome plated 'winder handle' seems to be rusting (does chrome rust?).
