Simply put this is a great DLC. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an amazing game, and the Booster Course Pass just adds so many more fun tracks to the mix. And tracks will continue to be added throughout the year 2023. Of the first 3 waves of tracks I have played, I thoroughly enjoyed each of them. I never played Mario Kart Tour so the addition of those tracks was something new for me. You get 48 total tracks for $25 (once each wave is released) and I think that is an excellent value. One note I have is that many of the Booster Course Pass tracks visually fall short of the quality level set by the base Mario Kart 8 tracks. Some flatter looking textures and lower quality assets are used and for me that was a slight disappiontment but it is not a big deal. You get so much more ... MoreSimply put this is a great DLC. I feel as though it's almost a slight con, in that you pay for 48 new tracks but only get 8 of them.... Also, I feel like the graphics on some of the tracks are lacking a little bit, and don't seem to have come very far since previous releases. For example, the textures and overall look of the Coconut mall track are better on the wii version than the switch version in my opinion. Also, the course has less obstacles than the original wii version (such as the moving cars before the final corner) , which I was disappointed with.

UNBELIEVABLY amazing value. the number of courses you get to refresh Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is insane for the low price.not to mention, there are entirely new courses coming, not just old rehashed ones for a quick cashgrab. Not all courses have been released but what we have gotten so far looks great.

I love Mario Kart. The new tracks are fun, but definitely not my favorite tracks. I don't like charging up front and releasing remastered tracks over almost a 2 year time period. Why not just charge in installments? If you really like Mario Kart, this is a very easy recommendation. . .I just think Nintendo could have done more.
First of all, the download and installation is quick and easy. After entering the DLC code in the eshop, my Switch downloaded and installed the expansion in mere seconds. The new tracks make the game feel brand new again. Kids were really excited to try each new race. There's a lot of variety in race environments. With 8 new tracks unlocked every two months for the next year, there's a lot to look forward to - 48 new tracks in total! This expansion is a great value!
I honestly love this 25.00$ USD for 48 new tracks that is a good deal though i must go over a few flaws1. The games online mode has the tracks so you dont need to buy this.2. We are on wave 3 right now which is not the problem its just that wave 1-3 had its fair share of good and awfully made tracks.example:Good: Waluigi pinballNot 🤢 but😕: Boo lake3. Dont try to 200cc wave 3 it will take a very long time of trial-and-error as i found myself messing up alot.Positives,1. Almost every track in wave 1-3 is a blast to play on2. You dont have to play the same boring tracks every dayLastly: People that dont care to play mario games will be interested in this because of all the good choices. The End
It’s too expensive. I think it is unfair to charge for this when I have already paid for the game. Gaming companies should offer these enhancements for free as a way of thanking customers and enhancing the user experience. That type of thing would definitely make me consider purchasing more games as it extends the lifetime of the product. Every little extra nowadays is treated like a brand new purchase. There is nothing wrong with trying to increase revenue, but this just feels like a bit of an insult and feels like Nintendo takes its customers for granted, especially at a time when the cost of living is rising so rapidly. The first thing I will cut back on is luxuries like video games. I regret paying for this.
Honestly picked this up mainly for the nintendo 64 tracks. Glad I bought it when a few of the cups were already released. The track variety is decent and I like that you can invite a friend that doesn't own the pass the join in and race along in the new tracks. Definitely recommended.
I have already raced the first wave of tracks enough to pay for the whole pass! Really no reason not to buy this if you enjoy Mario Kart or even occasionally play it when friends and family come over and you just want some more tracks. I actually prefer the new artwork/design of tracks over the original. It really pops and feels and looks like a switch game and not a Wii U port. The new textures are just smooth, polygons, and better textures in general. A++ overall! Excited for the rest of the waves and curious which tracks they will bring back.
What I like about this dlc is that it brings courses for older Mario kart games that never made it to Mario kart 8 deluxe. If you are tired with the courses in the main game then more courses right?! The Grafthics might not be good at launch but Nintendo changed the wii coconut mall’s cars move! They are trying to change more stuff as the year goes on. I never played the dlc but I do have the main game but I do plan on getting it soon. I do recommend to get this too saying that there are going to be 96 courses by the end of 2023. I do hope this review helped you ! 😁
