DO NOT BUY !!! Do your research and google IMPEX (who makes Marcy). Please read their reviews. This is a corrupt company who I have no idea how they are allowed to still conduct business as numerous people have reported them to BBB. They knowingly send products out without necessary parts and make customers wait for months if ever sent out for parts. They have been doing this for years !!!! SHAME ON DICKS FOR SELLING THIS COMPANY’S PRODUCT!!!! CORRUPT CORRUPT CORRUPT !!!!

Overall it's a decent system but it does have some flaws. Not a fan of all the plastic where you actually slide the weights on and off the equipment one has already split in two on me. Also the front cables will easily jump off the pulleys and strip the coating off the cable. The bench that comes with it is okay if you're a smaller person but I'm 6 ft 3 the benches too small and unstable for me. The sliders on the pulley system where you add the weights don't have any type of rollers or bearings to help it glide up and down on the track so you get some spots that catch and don't catch it works but it could definitely be smoother.

Delivery was on time. I purposefully stayed away from buying from any vendor not in the states. I did that once, was a horrible decision. This company was based out of the U.S. Instructions were fantastic, everything labeled. I've used the machine three times since purchase. Cables are great, I just wish I could change their position on the post. Where the bars located its a little too close to the floor cross beam, you naturally would like more space, but you can still make it work. Over all for the price this is a great machine. I'm very happy.

Love this machine! It does everything I need it to. It moves smoothly. No issues with it. The chair is a little too low for bench press but just change out the chair and no issues. I’d buy this again! It’s a must have for a home gym. Back and biceps done! Single leg squats done!
I went through many reviews of different machines similar to this one and decided to purchase this one based on other reviews and value for your money. Putting it together was not hard, power tools, wine, and handy husbands help speed up the process. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and love it. I’m 5’9” and my husband is 6’1” and we have no problems with the squat rack. Yes, it’s true we have to bend down some as others warn but it’s not the end of the world. If we had additional room we could lift the machine and prop it up like others have. We are just maxed out to our ceiling. I’m able to go into my basement, knock out a killer workout and never leave home. It’s built well!
My husband is really pleased with the equipment. It offers a lot of features at a price that makes it accessible for a home gym. Nothing on the machine is top tier quality and the assembly is miserable. However, everything works and nothing was damaged during delivery. We were actually surprised to receive it and everything in the boxes be not scratched and not dented. The machine might not be great if you are very tall, but raising the height of the machine might make it not fit in most garages/homes. Also you will probably need to buy some extra accessories to do your workout routines. We find the machine to be extremely stable and smooth even with the weights on the bars.
Parts and hardware were packaged and identified well making it easier to assemble. I did have to drill a hole bigger for one of the upper pulleys due to not machined correctly lined up for the bolt. I have used many Smith machines over the years in gyms and my own and I am satisfied with this product for the price. It meets my home gym needs nicely.
Very good, cables are better than expected, its fairly easy to do a low row with them, lat pulldown works great, crossovers are decent. Smith machine is very useful for when youre in a hurry. Weight storage is also very handy with hex grip weights. Bench isnt bad, decline and leg extensions would have been good. Dip bar is ok, not the best for abs though. Pull up bar is very sturdy. Machine does wobble slightly from side to side. All in all very good for most average gym users.
the smith machines itself is ok functions well and does what is supposed to.this particular machine was not my first option as it lack a leg developer and options that are available in other models, everything else was out of stock and i really didn't want to wait months for the one i wanted to arrive.one negative thing is that barbell that comes with the package is not sized to be used with the smith machine its too short . this is not disclosed anywhere for some reason. i don't see the logic of a barbell being offered as part of the package that cannot be used. misleading to me.
The machine itself is amazing! The metal is really sturdy and everything bolts together perfectly. There are a few direction SNAFU's that you can figure out yourself and also of note, you should start threading the cable with the ball end attached through the top pulley first, don't start at the bottom. The machine itself is very heavy when completely built, however, it does have some natural side to side shake if you push on it. All the pieces were carefully wrapped and packaged very neatly, all the required nuts, washers and bolts were laminated to pieces of cardboard with the appropriate part numbers. By myself it took me about 8 hours to build with a lunch break in between etc..... you will need some tools, mostly a ratchet and a couple of different sockets, ... MoreThe machine itself is amazing! The pulleys are very smooth as are the linear bearings for the bench press portion.
