There’s nothing better than homemade pasta. Once you’ve tried it, there’s no going back to store-bought dried pasta in a box. I’ve been searching for a high quality hand crank pasta maker for some time now and when I found the Atlas 150 at Crate and Barrel I thought it was too good to be true. But after purchasing and using it several times I have to say it’s the best pasta maker I’ve used. It completely fits my needs, is very durable and extremely high quality. There’s nothing flimsy about this pasta maker. I’ve made linguini, lasagna, and egg noodles and all have turned out perfectly. Don’t wasted your money on pasta makers from any other store.

We've now used this pasta maker about 5 times, and we've been very pleased each time. The heft and quality of the craftmanship lets me trust it will be a viable tool for a very long time. The size is just right for most pasta we've made, including lasagna noodles. The crank moves smoothly through its rotation (be mindful to keep the crank pressed into the machine while rotating, since it is detachable and can fall from its hole when not in use or when not pressed firmly), and the clamp secures nicely to the edge of the counter.

I bought this a month ago as a christmas present for my roommate, and we've already used it a ton of times. It's held up well, easy to clean, and is really good price for the quality of pasta maker! Its very straight forward to use and has all the basic features people who are trying to make their own dough without breaking the bank would need.
I bought this a few months ago and have frequently been using it when given the chance. With just some flour and eggs, it's magical what tasty food you can make. The roller is smooth and flattens the dough out easily and uniformly. The attachments cut the dough into noodles easily. You must not get the noodle cutter attachment wet as it makes the dough stick. The machine is bit difficult to clean but if you appropriately use flour, you should have no issues with dough/noodles getting caught.
I bought this after being inspired to make my own pasta. It works very well and I’m happy I bought it. All the parts function well. It looks nice and sleek. I think this machine will last me a long time as well. I also thought that the instruction guide for different types of pasta in the booklet was very helpful and I use them a lot. Overall, 5/5
It’s perfect for making fresh noodles or pasta at home. It’s easy to use and can adjust the thickness of your pasta dough. The weight is heavy but still need to clamp it down on the table. My only complaint is the cleaning of it. It’s a hassle that you can’t just wash it. If you do there’s a chance it can rust if not dry properly. There’s a bunch of videos on YouTube on how to clean it. So minus 1 star for the after care.
I'm glad I decided to splurge, I love this! Before buying this I'd recently made lasagna from scratch and it was the BEST lasagna I've ever had. I wanted it again and also wanted spaghetti from scratch but the one thing holding me back was making the pasta. Dough is easy enough to make, but I HATE rolling it out and trying to get it to just the right length. Then for spaghetti, I didn't want to deal with cutting it either. This lovely little machine takes care of both. My only complaint is that it says to clean it with a dry brush, but it doesn't provide you with one... where the heck am I supposed to get a cleaning brush for this? Oh well, I still love it.
This was our first pasta maker and after experience of making pasta by hand, this was a game changer. I really like the ability to make a wide variety of pasta, and it's easy to use. The only thing I would change is that the handle doesn't clip into the maker and occasionally it will slip out or fall off. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would not go back to hand pressed or store bought!
