Purchased after much research as a compact case for R5 RF100-500 combination in the field. As expected it is a very snug fit for the combination with the lens hood reversed and tripod bracket removed. Because the combo occupies the whole depth, the camera strap has to be carefully folded in at the top, or fed into the case next to the camera.The case can accommodate the combo with the tripod bracket and Arco QR platten attached, but there is noticeably more effort required to settle the camera and zip up the lid. This suits me fine as I am happy hand holding the combo generally, and can tolerate the squeeze on tho odd occasion that I take a monopod on my walks, but would not suit all.The side pockets would stretch to accept a spare battery.All in all this ...
