Small and compact and love the new cordless range that Makita have available. Pity it doesn't come with a battery and charger in a nice hard case. But I am very pleased with this product.

The little I have used it, I found it powerful and light enough to do the job intended for its future use. With an adapter and track rail I see the possibility of becoming a great addition as a track saw breaking down full sheets, then cutting to size.

Brilliant tool. Cuts effortlessly through sheet, doors and worktop. The thin blade gives you mm precision while the led light and dust blower make seeing your line easy.Indexing between 90° to 45° is instantly done thanks to the quality of the base. Nice strong sturdy bit of kit.Would highly recommend. The macpac case is also the perfect place to store it, or to put it down while on a job. Keeping you and the saw nice and safe.

Extremely good entry level Circular saw.Cuts with ease, light weight and solid constructionWell recommend
Powerful tool, handy, compact and silent. I was using a different brand and switch to this is a big upgrade.I will always recommend.
This is my first circular saw so this might be a pointless review to some but if I had to say something to others thinking of this particular saw, it’ll be buy it. Make your life a bit easier. I found it to a pleasure to work with. It took care of anything I threw at it. I’m happy like a little boy with a new toy.
Great saw! Goes through 12mm plywood like butter, it’s that effortless. Even with the blade it comes with. Nice, smooth cut too. Glad I didn’t go for the cheapest Makita saw - this bad boy def worth the extra money. You’ll love it..
Excellent product.I was replacing the older version, but this brushless version is absolutely wonderful.
I am impressed with the power and torque of this tool. I’ve even made my own guide so this can be doubled up as a track saw(using laminate flooring of all things)and it works a treat. It’s been used so far to cut inch and a quarter and it glides seamlessly.
I bought this saw to replace my older model that it was not brushless but very good. After a few cuts today I'm impressed and happy that I bought this one, stronger and the blower and the LED light it is very handy. I love-it. The hook is practical too. All in all a nice improvement over my DSS611Z model.
