This charging adapter is fine for what it is. It allows you to use a Makita battery to charge your phone.Bear in mind that for the price of the battery and the charger, you could buy several normal powerbanks for your phone and charge your phone many more times per powerbank.Makita batteries are designed to give you high current and this means they have power but less storage capacity. For example I can charge my phone twice on a Makita 3Ah battery, or 5 times using a powerbank. Yes the powerbank holds more Ah but it's tiny and more convenient. So, this adapter is fine if you don't mind swapping batteries and constantly recharging them. If you've got power nearby, use a phone charger.

Very useful for charging the phone or tablet when working away from home or where there's no access to a mains supply. It can be a little heavy with a large Makita battery attached and clipped onto a belt, but the unit itself is very light and easy to carry around. This was an excellent buy for me and I now have two USB outputs wherever I want them, even in the car if need be.

This little add on is a great item to have at the work site when you realize you didn't charge the phone the night before. The LED light is about as bright as a Bic lighter flame. I am glad I got this for $11.00 plus tax.

This is a great backup power option for anyone with an assortment of Makita 18v. batteries. Anywhere that you dont have normal power available, you can utilize your Makita batteries to supply power to all of your portable electronics.
It is a fantastic product. I can now charge all my USB devices using my Makita cordless tool battery. I don't have to buy a separate power bank to charge those devices.
Excellent product. Got funny looks when I took it on train to London but it certainly works. Using 3amp battery it recharged my iPhone in about 20mins. Four recharges took one light out on battery charge indicator. Suggests 16 or more full recharges possible. Recommend
We were being warned of possible power cuts, so I got to thinking, "what extra use can I make of the Makita batteries which I already have?" I plugged in a phone and an iPad. It charged both together, quickly and the Makita 3Ah battery still had one bar left.I have tried power packs in the past and was not impressed, but I am glad I bought this well-made Makita item.
This devise has totally exceeded my expectations of it. I was debating weather to get this or a solar powered charger. 100% correct decision going for makita lxt charger. Charges at the same pace as mains power does and my 3amp battery is still going strong after 5 charges and would not be surprised seeing 1 3amp completing 10+ charges. Highly recommend especially for the price.
This device is simple; it lets you access your Makita battery's juice to charge your devices. It has an ON/OFF switch and two USB out ports. It has rubber covers for the ports to keep dust out (handy in job sites). I've heard many people ask a bunch of questions like 'how many times can I charge my iPhone with it, etc.. It's an irrelevant questions; the amount of power you get depends on the Ah rating of your battery; this Makita device is merely a pass-thru. The number of charges you get depends on the Makita battery you use AND the size of battery in your device and that info can be looked up online.
Early days with this product. Appears good robust quality with neat push button locking for the telescopic action. Quick lock for height adjustment. Comfy cork handle with the option to use a second hand grip below ( although would not be able to put the straps around wrist in this position ). Straps have no padding and are not right or left orientated, so if you want this feature dont buy these. Foldability and carry bag useful. Overall very pleased with this product.
