Make Up For Ever 109 HD Skin Foundation Brush

This is the Make Up forever foundation brush #109 and it retails for $44.00. This is a super soft foundation brush with densely packed bristles that give a streak free application. This is an excellent brush. Made with synthetic bristles, I have not had any issues with losing any bristles and it has kept its shape despite being cleaned many times. I’ve had other brushes from this line and it is a quality line.

Best foundation brush I have found!

Picked this up during the sale after I saw a video with someone using this brush. It really does blend flawlessly and no streaks. Doesn’t absorb foundation and makes my foundation look so good. Quick application too!

Best make up brush purchase I have made

This is literally the best make up brush I have ever bought! I have had this brush for yearssss! I am not the gentlest of people so when I clean this brush I tend to be a little rough. It has not separated, lost any bristles, it is still like brand new

Easy to use, soft bristles

This is a large foundation brush. I like this for applying my foundation. However, sometimes I can see the brush lines on my face so I need to use a beauty sponge. This brush is also difficult to clean and collects a lot of my foundation. Its a hit or miss.

It’s everything.

I use this for powder foundation and it does me so right. It blends, packs, swipes, it does everything you need it to wherever you place it on your face. Everyone says “your skin looks so good today” not “your makeup.” Enough said.

Pointed tip & uniformly floppy version of Laura Mercier Glow Powder Brush (upper half flexi and bottom half firmer)

#109 is great for those who prefer to simply slide their liquid/powder foundation all over the face because the bristles are too floppy to control the application, and over-gliding will cause brush lines depending on amount of liquid foundation used. This brush shape is also similar to Etude House Technic Fit Slim Layer Foundation Brush - same teardrop shape except with flat and way too firmer surface.So I found #109 more useful as an overall blending brush after applying liquid foundation, but then, a fluffy powder brush can already blend so this brush is not worth the price nor function otherwise.

Trust me- buy it.

Bought this solely because it looked unique. I have two make up for ever brushes in my collection because of influence, but this one I was just curious about. And I’m SO glad I got it. Literally so so good.Blends seemlessly and the more tapered end of the brush makes it easy to blend under eye concealer. Loooove a multipurpose brush.

Worth it!

The foundation goes smoothly through-out the face without any streaks. The bristles aren't rough on the skin, its much less dense than the hourglass foundation brush, but softer. The brush has that velvety feel to it. I've only been using it for 1 week, and so far I am happy to it.

Once I saw MUFE I fallen in love. they are just so unique and beautiful, feels very expensive unlike for example IT brushes that cost as much . I was looking for perfect foundation brush, and I found it. It applies foundation perfectly literally within 20 seconds and I feel like it just deposit write ammount of foundation so the finish looks very natural. The shape is also so cool it fits perfectly all face curves and angles .I don't know why it is so underrated but I am in love and I ll keep using it for sure. This one is like a paint brush super soft yet it blends the foundation in no time. it is different from other brushes and I feel thats it is PRO brush indeed if you know how to use it. perfect foundation brush!

One of the best foundation brushes I have ever had! It blends the foundation so easily! I can swipe or buff with it so it works with any of my foundations. This is my 3rd makeup forever brush and I love that they last forever they dont shed the handle stays strong for basically a life time and they feel SO Soft!!!
