I ordered the same size as other shoes made in Italy but Maison Margiela shoes are narrow. They need to be stretch and now that they are broken in they are comfortable. I like the whimsical look of the pair I ordered. Keep in mind that if you have wide feet these shoes might not be for you.

I originally bought these (all black version) because they were stylish and low-key, and they quickly became my daily work shoe. They are incredibly comfortable and take an orthotic easily (the insole is removable). They are also very well made and have held up excellently after more than a year of frequent use.

I purchased the white sneaker, at first I was wary because I normally don't wear white sneakers but white is the original color of the german army trainer and it turned out to look very nice. First pair came with a weird blemish on the leather which I couldn't remove and nordstrom happily returned it and ordered me a new pair at my request. Great sneaker and great customer support. I'm very happy I was able to buy these shoes on sale :)

I like the color and materials. I am a big fan of the Replica style. I believe these shoes run a half size small. I I have to go up a size in these shoes than I normally wear.
