I recently bought 2 blushes from MAC. One was fine, but the other one looks like it’s been used. There’s an obvious brush stroke mark on the surface, which is disappointing. I loved the pigment and color it gave me! I highly recommend! I am a big blush fan and found that this is something I reach for 9 times out of 10. It doesn’t make the makeup underneath move and is perfect for any occasion. It also lasts a really long time. I have had mine for months and it looks like I have barely made a dent in the product. I feel that this blush is very affordable as well! Not having to spend an arm and a leg on something that I love is perfect! I have only tried this one, but would love to try the others, as I know that they would be great. Looking at the other colors helps me know that there is a color that will work on you’re skin tone. I have this blush in the shade "Dainty" described as a "light yellow pink with gold pearl." This blush comes in a dome-shaped baked formula which is silky soft and blends beautifully into the skin, leaving a luminous finish. It provides a fair amount of color without being overly pigmented, making it easy to work with and blend, which I prefer! It also has no kickback when you swirl your brush in it. Like other baked powders, it makes your skin look glowy without looking cakey or unnatural. The one issue I have with this blush is that the pearls are more noticeable than I prefer- I end up with some loose glitter on my face when I use it. I suspect that this won't be an issue on shades that aren't described as containing pearl, though. I seriously love the way the blushes apply to my skin. They are probably some of the prettiest blushes in the market. The formula is soft and buttery. The thing about mineralised blushes is they give that soft glow and have a shade for everyone. My first blush was actually in the shade Dainty, and every time I see it, I fall in love with how my skin looks. The warm soul is just the natural shade with a hint of colour. I knew I had to get it when I purchased it since it was on sale. So go ahead and try one!
Absolutely in love with this mineralized blush by Mac. The packaging is great. There is no Scent. The pigment is extraordinary little goes a long way with this blush. It has a bit of sheen to it and I love layering it or applying it on its own. But when I need to put on jeans, heels, and a cute blouse to show off my business or engage new clients, I need something that's EASY to put on, and is going to STAY for a long time. This blush is PERFECT for someone like me who is not the most skilled at makeup. I love how I'm able to put on a little at a time until I get the perfect dash of color. It goes on so easy, stays all day, and wipes off super simple. My skin has NEVER had any issues with it. And YES it has even stayed on when I had running clinics and needed to look good for the cameras. And If I add too much, the face powder blends so perfectly, it looks like a shadow hue of warmth, and nothing bold. MAC never disappoints when it comes to blushes and eyeshadows. I got the Gentle tone for the mineralized blushes and it is really good. It lasts all day long even if you don't apply setting spray after doing your makeup or directly onto your skin after applying suncream (keep in mind that it's mandatory to wait at least 15 mins after you've applied your moisturiser and another 15 mins to apply the suncream to do your makeup so you let your skin absorb the products properly). Truth to be told, the colour Gentle looks a bit different on the web, it looks more of a cool pink with a lot of sparkle particles but the colour it's actually nicer and a bit cool-berry darker where you can barely see the shimmering but enough to give your skin a natural glow.
I ordered the Mac mineralize blush in warm soul after seeing someone post about it on tiktok. I was so excited to receive it and once I got it I noticed it looked like there were brush marks already on the product as if someone had already used it. I called customer service and they were nice enough to send a new one obviously no charge. Received the new product and it also looked like it had been used!!! So ridiculous and unsanitary that employees don't check the product before shipping it. I also saw on Reddit that this seems to be an ongoing problem w Mac products. Disappointed and most likely will not be purchasing from Mac again.
Classic blush. It's very nice and easy to use. The only thing is it's slightly shimmery. Used it to completion. Can be light coverage if you go in with a fluffy brush – or can be built up with a heavier hand. Also is definitely expensive.I do recommend this product if you can afford it, yet I also think their are nicer products with better shades too. I would recommend the Makeup by Mario Powder Blush or Rare Beauty Liquid Blush.Definitely good as a beginner blush if that makes sense and easy to be a part of an everyday routine.
