The mat is very soft. My cats just use it as a scratching post instead of a place to let go of the litter on their paws. They prefer to shake and spread it all over the floor but the litter that does fall on it stays put until i shake it out. I do however wish that the mat was a bit bigger just so that it covers more surface for the litter to fall onto.

Great product that does the job of catching litter and stops it from tracking through the house. The reason I gave 4 stars is because they are a lot smaller than expected, so you need 2 mats to cover a normal size litter tray.

This would be great if it was bigger and fit under the base of the litter box as it is too small the cat litter lands up getting out and our cats for some reason love chewing on or biting it, which is wildly frustrating, we landed up taking it away for fear they might eat it. If you have a smaller litter box it would work nicely, however we have large Maine coon cats so it doesn’t work for us. I was so hopeful because it matched our litter box.
These are great at catching litter, but smaller than you would expect
My cat recently decided to become a professional kicker. I purchased these mats hoping it would help keep my floors clean. I put a few down by the litter box’s and was happy with the results. My cats don’t have a problem walking on them.
This mat does catch some litter but not enough for it to be effective in keeping the particles from tracing all over .
