I had expectations and bought it, but it looks like it is really old rice. When I put them in water, white stuff comes out. The shell of the rice keeps getting in my mouth and is annoying. I also don't know why it looks different from the image. I bought 3 of them, I think they are expired.

The search ended here with the connection to the Lundberg Farms website, where the "exact" product was easy to find purchase, including the large size, 12# bag. A cause for concern, this purchase was made as the lead level in rice products scare was being publicized. The Lundberg Farms site addressed the issue with all pertinent information concerning their products so consumers could make intelligent, informed choices as to what to buy use. I like this option for organic rice. The large bag size is nice because buying in bulk always save me some money! It also means I always have rice on hand :)

I've been using this race now for 10 years. Easy to cook full of flavor and never sticky. I love that the flavor is and so would be that you can enjoy it. Absolutely delicious I love adding vegetables to it sulci you name it. I eat this every day.

I really love the taste and texture of the Lungberg Organic Short Grain Brown Rice. I always keep an open bag and an unopened bag. When my open bag is gone, I open my unopened bag, and order a replacement storage bag. I like to rotate my pantry goods this way. I was disappointed tonight when I reached for my stored bag of rice. It has been in storage for 6-months (purchased May 2022, taken out from the pantry storage Nov. 2022) and had a best-by date of March 2023. I pulled out this unopened bag of rice tonight to find it was heavily infested with weevil and had a moldy odor. I had to throw the whole bag in the trash. I was sad to have such a large quantity of food go to waste.
