Longchamp Large Le Pliage Original Tote Bag

The Longchamp tote bag is an absolute classic that lives up to its reputation. The design is sleek and timeless, making it a perfect accessory for both casual and more polished looks. The bag is lightweight yet surprisingly durable, and the spacious interior can hold everything I need for the day, including my laptop. I also love the water-resistant material, which comes in handy during unexpected weather. My only minor complaint is that the straps can be a bit stiff initially, but they soften up with use. Overall, it’s a reliable and stylish everyday bag.

Absolutely love this bag

This is my 3rd longchamp bag . I bought my first bag 15 years ago and it's still going strong ! I bought my daughter the navy bag last year for Christmas and she absolutely loves it , so much I bought her the grey one this year . My daughter is studying for her A'levels so the bag is perfect for all her files etc. Our bags have come on holiday with us and weekends awayHighly recommend the bags. You can fit so much into the bag and I can vouch for the longevity of the bags . Worth the price

Beautiful large tote in chestnut color

I went to Nordstrom to look at totes, I wanted to a new work bag. I was looking at few different totes and wanted something that would be good for California fall/winter. I also wanted to see Longchamp sizes in perosn. Large size was what I needed to fit my laptop and other things. I love nylon and that it has zipper, I wont have to worry about it getting dirty or my laptop getting wet when it rains. I love the brown shade of the bag, the color is called chestnut/silver. I think I will need to get an organizer for it but its not necessary when the bag is full of items. Its also a great travel bag. I see myself using it a lot. And the price is great compared to other totes.

Great bag poor service

I recently visited Nordstrom ROOSEVELT FIELD with my mom to purchase another Longchamp Le Pliage bag, which we love for its classic style, versatility, and durability. Unfortunately, our shopping experience was tainted by an unpleasant interaction with the initial staff member at the counter.From the moment we approached, this employee seemed terse and unwelcoming. Her curt responses to my questions about colors and sizes made it clear that we were an inconvenience. My mom and I exchanged uncomfortable glances, considering whether we should just leave. Suddenly, she became warm and friendly, which made us question if the second employee was a manager or if there had been previous complaints about the first woman's behavior.The second employee's kindness and professionalism ultimately salvaged our experience and led us to purchase the bag. Without her intervention, we likely would have left empty-handed and disappointed.While we love our new Le Pliage, I felt compelled to share this experience as a cautionary tale for other people of color who might shop here. Especially because I had my cute little mom with me, and if you're mean to my mom I'll hate you forever. Great bag though.

Had this bag for years!

I treated myself to this bag several years ago from JL's, at the time it was a major investment for me so it really needed to be right - hardwearing, spacious, can be held as a tote or slung over a shoulder and above all it needed to fit in well with the majority of my clothes and obviously look good! My daughter's dream school bag

My daughter has been wanting this bag for months, finally treated her after great exam results! Lovely bag, well made and very roomy. Bought a separate insert to give it some stability and keep things organised. Easily fits everything she needs for school, straps good quality and stitching looks sturdy. I may add corner protectors, as this part looks like it may wear quickly. Would be great to have some protection from scuffs on the bottom but again may add something myself. Overall great quality.

PERFECT BAG

I am a longtime owner and fan of Longchamp bags. These bags are lightweight, fold into a little square for travel and are perfect for shopping. When I saw peacock color I had to have it. I travel for a living to Europe and Asia. Europe does not provide bags at grocery stores stores so I bring my Longchamp. Fits everything nicely and the material of nylon can be cleaned with a damp cloth. I have also washed mine on gentle cycle in the washer and they come out perfect. A classic bag that never goes out of style. Love the large size. This is not meant to be a “structured bag”. Longchamp is definitely designed for travel. Inside has a slip pocket. These bags last forever!

Perfect for commuting

I had this on my radar for about 4-5 years and never pulled the trigger; mainly because I worked part time jobs all the time so I usually packed light. I started a full time corporate job a little over a year ago and was previously using the Madewell Transport Tote (I worked at J.Crew so I got a discount lol). It was fine for the most part but there were things that bothered me- the biggest thing was that there was no zip closure. I spend roughly 8-10 hours at my work building so I needed something I can carry lots of things but also, like I mentioned, something that zip closed. So far, I’ve had this for a month and am so mad I didn’t purchase it sooner. It is so comfy, slouches perfectly and goes with everything I wear. Useful Foldable bag.

Longchamp Le Pliage bags are great for taking away on holiday. The clever foldable design makes them so useful for travelling.The classic design of the bag is smart and the discreet Longchamp logo is stylish.This bag is available in different sizes so you do have to take care when purchasing which size bag you require. I intended to purchase the medium size bag but realised when I got the bag home I had been sold the large size.Would definitely recommend this bag as it is so useful and comes in a good range of colours.

“ Paper”color/Med perfect for summer in the city.

Purchased for granddaughter who works in NYC. I While dark leather works for fall and winter she needs something more lightweight to carry and light colored for hot steamy days. It is urban chic, has a nice gusseted bottom so it sits on table without falling over. It has a fabric blend with leather handles that fits comfortably over her shoulder (5’8”, small size 2 frame). It says it’s waterproof inside. She hasn’t had the need to wipe off dirt yet, so we’ll see how easy it is to clean. What she also likes is it folds up to nothing (for storage in a tiny closet in off season) as well as its’ color. The color is more to the cream/ vanilla but still will look very summery, unlike a bright white, which can look dirty easily and ruin a summer look .
