Good: excellent speaker, works well as a USB hub for peripherals. Good concept. Power delivery worked for charging my laptop.Bad: I got a new Gigabyte Aero gaming laptop to try to get this to work. I have a Samsung super wide 49 inch monitor. The DP port will not work. The HDMI barely worked, will not support the 5120x1440 resolution. At a lower resolution, the images were not clear. The unit was returned as it did not support my monitor.

This makes my desk so much cleaner, and makes it easy to switch between home and work devices. When my spouse needs to take a video meeting, she can just plug her laptop right in and get the advantages of a great screen, camera, speakers, keyboard and mouse without needing to use my computer.I researched the dock quite a bit before buying, and it actually works better than I expected it to.Pros:1. Lots of ports2. Can handle a Logitech Brio webcam -- many hubs cannot3. All of the buttons except one (join meeting) work with Windows AND ChromeOS4. The shape is great5. Sound quality is decent6. Volume changes can occur on ChromeOS without button presses -- where the volume from the device does not match the OS volume. This sometimes means the sound turns off entirely or gets really loud in the middle of a meeting.5. If you use both the microphone button on the device and the one in the browser in ChromeOS, things get out of sync, and no one can hear you. Never had this happen in Windows.I definitely recommend it if you are on Windows and Mac primarily. If you are on ChromeOS, be prepared for some hiccups, but it is quite functional. I switch between devices on an almost daily basis, and it handles that well. How to make it perfect:1. Ethernet port2. A microphone better for more than just speech (such as music lessons)3. Fewer bugs in the ChromeOS integration, and add "join meeting" support4. Allow pairing bluetooth mice directly to the dock, instead of to a computer. Also, ideally build in both other common types of Logitech dongle (unifying receiver and Logi Bolt).5. Allow pairing arbitrary bluetooth headsets directly to the dock, instead of only supporting Logitech headphones.

This is truly a perfectly designed product. It works seamlessly as a mac dock w/ one displayport display and to provide power + audio/mic. Note there are some limitations on the number of external displays you can have using this dock but that is specified up front in the product spec sheet, and for my use case with just one it works fine. Love the Logi Tune desktop app which syncs with your cal and can cause the purple light on the Logi Dock to flash when you have a meeting to join. Then you can just tap the O button on the unit to launch directly into your zoom call without even opening your calendar. Also love that the hardware mic and camera buttons on the dock control those functions in zoom. Overall would highly recommend!

A great desk hub from the peripheral kings. Logitech has done a great job on these with the Work from Home execs and team in mind. The lighting is a great feature as it shows your microphone and camera status, as well as a purple illumination during Teams activity. The sound quality is incredible, and the build is very solid. That said, there is a few quirks - USB C displays are a no-go currently and my mic soft touch key only works sporadically. There are few USB ports and only 1 HDMI and 1 Displayport. They both output beautifully and quickly. Charges my laptop and connects with the single USB C connection. Great product, it's exactly what I was looking for. I work remotely, and I was trying to clean up my cable mess. I also wanted a better way to listen to music while I was working. This really fits the need nicely. The microphone mute button is also very handy for video conferencing. The only gripe I have is with Logitech software utilities - they really need to merge. I have this, a webcam, wireless mouse and keyboard, and that requires three different software utilities? C'mon, Logitech, put some money into your software apps department.
I'm using it with my Macbook Pro and Microsoft Teams. It can be a little flaky some times but usually works ok. The sound quality is very good. Flaky? I had to move a webcam USB connection from the Logitech to my Mac because the image started having spots on it. I can't confirm the problem was the Logitech but the problem went away and hasn't come back. 2nd flaky is sometimes it takes a few seconds to sync audio when I connect to a Teams call - it reverberates audio from the call for 1-2 seconds before syncing up and working fine.
Pros: Excellent speakers for the size. Excellent mics, zero reverb and does a fair job at noise cancelling. Logi Tune software and one-touch feature work well with zoom and teams. Overall very happy with it.Cons: One-touch access still does not work with google meet (not yet). It only has two USB-A ports. It should have come with two HDMI ports rather than a DisplayPort and HDMI. The difference in quality is noticeable when using dual screens.
Out of the box, the Logi Dock is great. However, there are some major issues with the product. The first issues are the ports: 1 DP, 1 HDMI, 1 thunderbolt port, two USB 3.1, and three USB-c. I wish there would be more ports for the HDMI and DP, as you may need to connect more devices (like monitors, graphic cards, and other PC devices). But everything else is good. The sound quality is superb and I would highly recommend this device only for laptop users, maybe for PC or desktop users. But overall, great product
Looks great on the desk and packs a crazy amount of functionality into a tiny space. Perfect for a minimal desk without compromising. I have a nice Blue Yeti Mic and I tested the microphone quality on both and it's very close. The Blue Yeti mic has a better sound, but the noise cancelling and clear audio quality for video calls are hardly noticeable. Unless I'm recording a podcast, the Blue Yeti mic hardly gets used anymore. The sound quality of the speakers is great as well. The indicator lights are super convenient. I love that it lights up when my calls start and I can be on the call instantly with the push of a button without having to search for links and open apps. Pretty powerful little box! I don't have much desk space, so this is perfect!
After using the Logi Dock for a couple of months, it is still an integral part of my desktop. It's a very good device. Does what it is supposed to and allowed me to remove some clutter from my desk, which I love. Most of the time it is basically invisible, which it should be. I shouldn't have to interact with my dock very often. Two, seemingly, simple things would have made this device perfect. First, it seems lie a no brainer that the Logi Dock should have a built-in unifying (or logi bolt) receiver. I shouldn't have to use an extra USB receiver to connect my Logitech MX keys and Logitech trackball. Second, the power output is only 100W, but many of the more powerful workstation grade laptops want more power. My Dell precision, for example, has a warning about slow ... My Dell precision, for example, has a warning about slow charging unless the power provided is a minimum of 130W. This is a minor issue (I hate having the yellow warning icon in the toolbar), but I don't think it is too much to ask for 130W out of a $400 dock.Would I buy it again? Absolutely. It is a nice piece of hardware and I enjoy my desk more because of it.
