The controller is lightweight but it doesn't feel cheaply made either. It worked out of the box with all the games I have tested it yet. I'm not a fan of battery powered devices so this controller is ideal as it still comes with a cable (as opposed to the more recent F710), which at the length of 6 feet, is a pretty reasonable length for a PC controller. The only complaint I have is that I would have liked the overall controller to be a little smaller as I feel like it stretches my hands when playing games that require the use of the trigger buttons and joysticks at the same time. As it is the case for pretty much everything I have bought from Logitech throughout the years, it seems like a quality product that will last many years. For less than $30, this is a quality, highly reliable controller for gaming. I’ve been using it for a month now with GeForce, hooked up to my IPad through a dongle, and it works perfectly. It feels nice to hold, the buttons are solid, the cable is long enough to connect to the TV, and the downloadable software is completely optional. Easy to plug in and play.The only reason this gets a 4/5 is because the raised buttons and thumb-sticks can be a bit annoying. The online photos are a little deceptive, with the buttons and thumb-sticks being higher than other controllers like the DualShock or Joycons. The body is also clearly a hard plastic, but for the price that’s to be expected.

It's ok. I paid 20 bucks more because I broke two pairs of scissors trying to break open that hard plastic security case. That might taint my review a bit. But - it is ok for a cheap game pad. Very cheap plastic, doesn't even feel good against the skin of my hands. Rough, not smooth and so light weight I feel I will break it while playing. But it works the way it should.

This is a PC controller mind you. I was using it on blood today. Blood is a PC game. I didn't have to reconfigurate the controllers or anything. I was working off the bat. With Street fighter alpha 2 I had to reconfigurate to controllers. Sometimes you got to switch it to the different mode on the controller. Depending on what game you play. The only complaint I have to feels a little bit small. Nonetheless is controller works fine. It does work on Windows 11 if you want to know.

Great buttons and joy sticks that feel great. They can take a beating and the cord has remained in great shape after much abuse. The weight is light which makes long gaming sessions less tiring. The only thing which isn't perfect are the right and left bumpers, and that's not to say they're bad. For the price, this odd looking controller is the best deal you can get. I haven't found anything outside of this and the wireless version within the same tier of quality for <$50. However if you are going to buy wireless it doesn't hurt to look at those $50 instead. Bluetooth is a worthwhile feature for anything wireless, but for wired this is the controller to get. It has no extra steps to set up on Linux, Windows, and Mac.
So I have bought this controller many times throughout the years, not because it is the best controller out there but simply because every gamer out there knows that at some point we will get thumbstick drift. I have had it with all my controllers from playstation to xbox. The great thing with logitech is they have a 3 year warranty on their controllers and for me that is great because they replace controllers when the thumbsticks drift. And it is and very easy process. I have even replaced a replacement after a year of gaming because the thumbsticks drifted in that time. I mean talk about backing your product and you can usually get these controllers for less than half the price of the sale price of an xbox controller.
The back trigger buttons are a little uncomfortable to hold down for very long. The controller has a nice design but it’s not as bright blue as it looks in the pictures, but I don’t care about that so much. The cord length is pretty good but you can get extensions for that. While the buttons are a bit noisy sounding. They work good. Setting it up to work is easy so it wasn’t a problem for me. The controller isn’t very solid feeling but for $20 it’s very reasonable. I did test it with my desktop computer and I didn’t have to do anything special to get it working.
When I was looking for a PC game controller to play X-Box Pass on my laptop, all what came up by online searching cost more than $30. I almost gave up finding, but a search result of this controller came up by chance. This one was not listed as Compatible Controller for X-Box Pass on X-Box Pass homepage, but one review saying this works with PC games convinced me to buy this. This perfectly works on my laptop to play X-Box Pass. Make sure you switch the rear switch to X when you play X-Box Pass. If it is D position, X-Box Pass doesn't read this as Compatible Device.
