This has led to some ""fun"" mixups where I have the wrong mouse/toggle combo but that's on my ADHD brain, not the mouse. I was about to replace my ~nice~ work mouse at the office (a wireless thinkpad mouse that also has great reviews) and then I realized I don't have to buy the matching thinkpad mouse, I can buy yet another copy of this mouse because this mouse is superior in literally every way. I can't speak for battery life really but it seems normal in that regard. It certainly doesn't feel like I've had to replace it very often. I'm not a SuPeR gAmEr or anything but for playing stuff like Path of Exile and Genshin Impact it's been fine. Another nice thing, although extremely niche, is that when I sprained my wrist a few months ago and had to wear a brace this was the only mouse I could grasp properly while wearing it. But yeah, I have been using this mouse for seven years, the first six of which was daily as a student (one who's free time outside of schoolwork was spent on the internet or playing basic videogames) and still use it pretty regularly since then.

I don't do gaming, so I don't have any comment about that and I've only been using this mouse for a couple weeks, so battery life is still open. The mouse is functioning well and I'm very satisfied. The only problem I had is that I kept getting a message that I could open up a USB port because I have two devices that could share one USB plug. By trial and error I tried to determine what other device could share the same USB plug with the new mouse, but unsuccessful. I finally gave up and went back to using two. I'm sure that there's a way to figure this out, but it's not a big deal for me.

My prior Logitech (CE M325) had been in use for many years before it began having tracking problems. This new Logitech M325 is lighter in weight, is comfortable, and responds well overall, having no problem with accuracy in point and click functions, highlighting, cutting and pasting, etc. The difference is that it's not quite as smooth on the sides and has slight stopping points when scrolling quickly, thus disrupting the smooth tracking flow when trying to quickly scan through longer passages of Kindle books. For use other than quickly scanning through pages of reading material, it functions very well. My prior M325 Logitech mouse tracked quickly and smoothly through long passages of reading material, stopping precisely. The lack of smooth tracking with the new M325, during quick book scans, is particularly annoying to me, as I search reading material multiple times per week. Because of this, I rated it 4 rather than 5 stars, despite its inexpensive cost.

I've never had a mouse wear out before. I've had them get gunked up. I've had them wear down on the surface, taken them apart and cleaned them, etc. This basic mouse works very well, and a few months in you'll notice that the scroll wheel now slides freely without the built in precision resistance. Okay, not really a big deal, so I keep using it. I replace a battery in something like a year, and keep going. Then, it starts experiencing keyhop on the left mouse button after maybe 18 or 20 months. I wouldn't make a big deal about this, except exactly the same thing happened with two units. I'm a software guy and use it all day every day, so spending $10-$15 bucks on a mouse that feels right every couple years is no big deal, but maybe you want to keep a spare handy so ... MoreI've never had a mouse wear out before. It absolutely would get five stars for value and ergonomics, if only two mice didn't have exactly the same problems, so early in their lives. It's a pity, because I didn't buy it for the price. I bought it for its simple features and excellent feel in my hand. I'm not quite sure if I'll buy another. I'm not used to buying replacement products after they break in a couple years, even if they are cheap. I wasn't raised that way.

It's just the right size for me and works great. At first. After buying 4 of them what I DON'T like is how the scroll wheel eventually becomes so stiff/tight it's unusable. It's not accumulated 'gunk' in the mechanism. I've taken it apart and there is nothing visible that would prevent the wheel from turning. The only explanation I can come up with is somehow the 'rubber' on the outside of the wheel is somehow swelling/enlarging and rubbing against the plastic mechanism that holds the wheel. I have no idea what might cause this I'm on my last (4th) M325 and won't be buying any more. It's a shame because if not for the scroll wheel issue it would rate 5 stars

Just excellant. I'm using it with both Linux Mint and Win 10, and I bought a third for my mother to use on her Chromebox. The buttons have both a tactile and audible click, the wheel has fine detents that can just barely be felt. The wheel tilts sideways, too, being assigned to Back (tilt left) and Forward (tilt right) in Linux. I haven't tried customizing the buttons in either Linux or Win10. Their default functions were fine, right out of the box! The little LED on top turns on for only a few seconds when the mouse wakes up, then it goes out -- maybe that's the battery indication. The color and build quality is great, as with most everything that has come from Logitech. I moved from a small Microsoft Optical 5000 corded mouse for portables to this mouse, wanting to be free of cords. The AA battery makes the Logitech heavier, but also promises a long life between replacements. I leave the mouse switched on always, and I still expect more than a year on the battery. I'm not heavy-handed, so the rubber sides give it a good, non-slip feel, while the top is ergonomic, with just enough curvature to signal that your fingers are placed such that the wheel is where you expect, making the mouse an extension of your hand. I'm thinking of opening my laptop to embed the RF dongle inside the case, so it's not sticking out the side to catch on things. It's a small dongle, of course, but I see no reason to ever take it out, and I don't want it catching on a travel bag or (please no) breaking off if the laptop slips and falls. I think that all laptops should have a RF device (no, not a bluetooth pain) inside for cordless mice, headphones, and auxiliary speakers. Surely a software engineer can sort through the addressing and collisions. Just one bit of advice: If you get more than one, then resist the urge to get only your favorite color. Each dongle is dedicated to its own mouse, no problem there, but you still might pick up the wrong mouse when packing your bags!

I realize this mouse is a simple 2 button 25 dollar mouse without amy bells and whistles. However, it's perfect for me. As a left-handed gamer in a right-handed world, my options are severely limited. I tried 4 different mice before settling on THIS mouse. It fits perfectly in my hand, is very light, fast and accurate and does not promote any tiredness of my hand with its usage. Simple and sweet....I recommend this mouse to any left-handed or right-handed user.

For those still in dinosaur mode: I bought a laptop in late 2017 with i3 7th gen Intel processor, 1320 X 766 display. The touchpad became an issue when second 2414 1080p monitor added. The optical Logitech mouse is much more responsive and precise than the otheŕ cheap DELL versions bought in 2014 for a more primitive laptop... Am frustrated by new issue of adding second monitor and and discrepancy in the acuity of the displays. Truncated display in the 2414 1920 X 1080... Digression.Recommend Logitech M325 for dinosaurs like me.

So I needed a mouse immediately since I lost one. I understand that this mouse is for web scrolling, but I didn't thought that this would work ONLY for web scrolling. I wonder why Logitech would make mice for this specific purpose... That's about it... Things you should consider before buying this little mouse: - Scrolling will skip pages on your PowerPoint slides, PDF files, etc. You really can't control the page you want to be at. Instead, you should use arrow key on your keyboard to go to the exact page. - I use the middle (wheel) button a lot for closing tabs, using 3D software, and etc. This will accidentally scroll before clicking because the wheel is very ""smooth"", which I found very annoying. I really don't see a point of a mouse designed for web-scrolling only. If all you do is rolling the wheel.. this probably works, but who does...? If you need a small mouse while travelling, changes are that you are using it for work or study. This little mouse may fit your suitcase nicely, but be prepared to be annoyed on your PowerPoint slides. Don't even think about using it for presentation. Bottomline: if you only browse with your computer, this one works. If you do more than browsing with your computer, look something else.

I have a Logitech M325 mouse at work and love it, so I bought the same model for my personal laptop at home. Its very comfortable, and its made of strong, solid material with a good grip. I like it because it feels natural to use. Some computer mice make it feel like youre skipping all over the place or you have to force it to go where you want. This one works perfectly in my experience. It is on the smaller side (so read the dimensions), which is good for me because I have small-medium sized hands.
