This stuff is awesome. I used it on a headlight bulb connection where the connector was cracked. The bulb grease not only conducted electricity it kept water out of the connector to prevent the bulb from burning out again. Awesome stuff!

Used it on my valve cover gasket and the spring seats on all my new struts Good stuff!that's the pros so. Far ! The cons can be used on bolts subjected to vibration not really a con ! But removing the bolts can be a real pain! They require a torch for removal

Mechanic who failed my car for exhaust leak from the o2 sensor was going to charge me $125.00 to replace the o2 sensor gasket. Bought the $3.42 gasket and the RTV for $8.99 and fixed myself. Saved over $100.00 bucks

When you open this make a screw size hole in the tube. Use spout but clean it out with Q-Tips. Place a 4" screw firmly in the tube hole (threaded part) replace cap tightly. This will allow fresh RTV to always have a 'channel' to get out.
Tube broke at the bottom while applying it, needless to say the entirety of its contents got all over my hands and on the cam gears - never had I made such a mess. Relatively quick and easy job turned disastrous and time consuming, not a great experience!
I restored a 1977 Chrysler Boat Motor. Difficult to find gaskets for this boat. Used it on the lower unit and on the side unit of motor. Was worried about heat and moisture but after 5 plus years it certainty passed the test. Very reliable product.
It was a clearance item and had to be replace with another type of gasket maker as it was out of stock.
The product was used on my dryer door seal replacement. It worked perfectly, dried quickly and no mess. I'm glad I chose it.
I bought this stuff to use while doing the rear main seal cover on a 2004 GMC Yukon. The stuff is related to use with high temps and around oil. I used this stuff to put a bead along the left and right joints where the oil pan, block and cover meet, and then a bead along the bottom of the cover. I let it cure longer than suggested before running the truck.
Used this on the gas key screws on my AR-15 hoping to not have to stake it extra hard, but the screws loosened. I know that seems like a tough test for the product, but the specs say it should have been able to handle it. A little disappointed. For other uses I am sure it is fine but for anyone else thinking about using this on a firearm you might want to reconsider.
