LG Series XL 14kg Front Load Washing Machine - Silver

I’ve just purchased my first LG washing machine F4V310WSE inverter DirectDrive 10.5kg from ao.con and can truly say I am so impressed with it. It even has Smart Functions allowing me to communicate with my washing machine using my iPhone. Using smart diagnosis. The machine weighs your washing and automatically adjust the time of wash according to the weight. It was easy to install with attaching one cold water outlet, waste pipe, adjusting feet plug in and good to go. It plays tune when you turn it on and off and plays a pleasant tune when washing machine finishes. Allows you to customise your temp and spin with just a press of a button. Have done about 4 washes all with great results very quite even on a fast spin It has a A+++ rating and even has a 14 min speed ... MoreI’ve just purchased my first LG washing machine F4V310WSE inverter DirectDrive 10.5kg from ao.con and can truly say I am so impressed with it. I have a love/hate relationship with my washing machine!!! I like having a front-loader machine. I like the soap dispenser area-you don’t have to use as much soap in this high efficiency machine as you would in a traditional top loading machine. I like that I can run a turbo wash or quick wash and have my clothes washed in as little as 15-20 minutes for lightly soiled clothing. I like the many other features for washing options on this washing machine. Now the cons-I CANNOT STAND the smell that can be emitted from the gasket area of this machine if it is not dried out/off between washes. It can have a musty smell that is just noxious. Who wants to wash their clothes in a machine that smells? So, I have to do periodic cleaning of the rubber gasket area, bleaching of ... MoreI have a love/hate relationship with my washing machine!!! So, I have to do periodic cleaning of the rubber gasket area, bleaching of the machine and maintenance along with leaving the door and soap cup open in between washes so they can have air circulation. This is a pain in the neck but it has to be done to avoid the growth of yuck!!!

Amazing

I ordered this the 14kg LG front load washing machine a month ago and just got it yesterday, all I can say it is amazing. My old front loader washing machine was a LG 7kg but this one bets it hands down. I love how it analyzes the load before it starts, then it will tell you how long it will take. I have done 2 weeks of washing in 1 day in 5 loads and now on to all the quilts which is the main reason I brought this machine. I can not wait till all my king size quilts are nice and fresh thanks to LG. It is great how it connects to the app on your phone and you get a notification for when your load is finish instead of having to listens for the ring of the machine

Great Capacity at Reduced Spin Speed

Pros: Ample capacity for handling large laundry loads. Sturdy build quality.Cons: Lower spin speed of 1000rpm leads to insufficient drying. Default settings reset after restart. The LG QXL-1014W washing machine offers a spacious drum and energy-saving features, making it an appealing choice. However, it falls short in terms of its limited spin speed, which operates at only 1000rpm. This results in clothes not drying adequately, leading to extended drying times and potential energy consumption when using a separate drying machine. Another drawback is the machine's default setting behavior, as it automatically resets to the default settings after a restart, rather than retaining the previous settings. This can be inconvenient for users who have specific preferences ... MorePros: Ample capacity for handling large laundry loads. Malfunctions only after x6 months & 2nd machine

I bought our first machine in April 2021 and it malfunctions within two weeks. The display panel broke down. Harvey Norman replaced it straight away. Our 2nd model malfunctions in November 2021 with the rubber on the front of loader being ripped away and torn. Which then causes the machine to become blocked and not drain. We receive a courtesy repair visit and machine works fine. We are warned it can happen again while we are waiting for new parts for our x5month old machine. The machine became blocked again around the 20th December. Nothing they can do as they are still waiting on parts. It's now Jan 7th and we are still waiting. Will not buy another LG at this stage. As a mother of 5 and running my own business. Massive smart machine

#It's massive, wifi control, and not too noisy. The 14 kg capacity made usually 2-3 load change to one, really the big thing I chosen this. It save time.#The feature that send message to the app when the laundry has done is very convenient.#There also self diagnosis feature to the app phone that help solve the problem.#Always read the instructions first#Make sure use measurement cup for detergent,do not assume the holder is the size. The machine can stop working if too much soap bubbles.#It took couple of minute for the machine by spin dry at the start to check the laundry, after that the water start spray.#The maximum spin is 1200rpm..so a bit less than my past machine, the result not too dry. This is the biggest flaw for me. So we need to put extra spin ... More#It's massive, wifi control, and not too noisy. The 14 kg capacity made usually 2-3 load change to one, really the big thing I chosen this. No manual overide

I bought this last October 2020 and the powerboard was broken. Clothes were stuck for days before it got fixed and was damaged. I ask for a replacement of the unit and will never ask for compensation since it was the powerboard and there is no manual overide to open the washer if it occurs again. They replaced the powerboard but never replaced the unit. How can I trust a product thats gets broken under 24 months without a manual overide to avoid clothes being damaged. As a consolation support is good but avoid this product.

Not good as expected

Machine DOES NOT fit a super king doona. Barely fits a king. Will not spin dry as much as you would expect even on extra dry spin. Wash cycles are ok but washing isnt as clean as you would expect even if you half full it on a full sized wash. Constantly unbalanced even though its been set up correctly. When unbalanced it wont spin so you come back to an unfinished load.

Why wash your clothes when clothes are still dirty

Had a lovely top loader for years and was working beautifully. Bought this bigger LG front loader washer and dryer. To start with it the dryer doesn’t dry but on top of it the washer gives u dirty clothes back (I could still smell my sons sweaty sports clothes after washing).I am so disappointed that I went with LG name. I tried different settings, put in various detergents to get it work but each time it fails. Finally today I realised it hardly uses any water. I tried various settings but again same result, dirty clothes after washing. It basically uses so little water that clothes are not cleaned at all.

Yes, it's worth it!

Love it! I was a little sceptical after having the old style dryer that it wouldn't dry properly.Happy to say it does and it's fantastic. My clothes feel softer?! No more hot sweaty dusty laundry. Worth ever cent for the much cheaper running costs too. Currently recycling the water after use for my plants.
