We were happy with this monitor for a while until we noticed that, under Windows 10, whenever the PC came out of sleep mode, any open windows would resize small and reposition to the upper left corner. I would not have guessed that this was a monitor issue until I read a post on some discussion forums where they blamed it on the behavior of the HDMI connection on "some" monitors. I dug out an old VGA cable, connected that, and it's working fine now.

I bought this model because it was a good value for this size of monitor. The first thing I noticed was how the picture vears towards a yellow tinge. The color settings really do not correct this. My biggest complaint is the impossible thumbwheel control hidden at the base of the edge of the TV. It makes adjucting very difficult.

I purchased the 27MP400 with a new mini PC. the monitor is well packaged and performs really well what you'd expect. The only negative is that it has only a single HDMI slot. It's light weight and has a decent stand. Picture quality is sharp and clear.

I purchase this monitor about 6 weeks ago and I am delighted with my selection. I am using it with my Lenovo Thinkpad with Windows 11. The screen size is great for side by side document comparison. Images are clear and bright. Settings options for personalization offer a wide variety.
False advertising. I purchased two of these monitors from Amazon. They are listed as having a tilt stand. The stand does not tilt. On both Amazon and here on the LG website they are listed as supporting 75Hz refresh rate. That is not true, it supports 50Hz, 59Hz and 60Hz only. I tried manually setting it to 75Hz and it gave me a black screen saying it was out of range. The monitors are listed as being IPS panels but they display like TN panels. Lastly, my two identical monitors have wildly different color temperatures and there's no way to change it. On the LG website it recommends using LG Calibration Studio, but it doesn't support these monitors. So i'm stuck with mismatched images. It's a great monitor, but whoever decided that after the picture appears, that there should be a 20 sec display for "accessibility & beep guide smack in the middle every time the blanks out for a second should have his/her head examined. It is a real nuisance. In a corner would have been better if it can't be turned off. At least the HDMI display is only 3 sec and in a corner, which is fine. Recently bought 3 monitors, 27" & 22" (2) and they all do this. Tempting to return them. Would like to hear back on this from someone.
Our Mayor purchase the monitor for me and he picked out this LG Monitor. I am very happy because the other one I had was very old and the picture was just not great to look at all day. The LG Monitor sure made a big difference for my daily work load.
I've had my monitor for a couple of months now. It is replacing my old LG W2453V-PF (24") that I purchased around May 2009, which finally gave out. The display is sharp, and I like the 27 inch width, for the same space, over my old monitor. I do somewhat miss that the colors on the 2453 were more brilliant, but the MP400 is quite satisfactory. Also, I was looking for an anti-glare monitor.
Good Points: First of all the great price, 27" monitor comes with HDMI cable in the box, larger screen is easier on the eyes when working with pixels, so I get less eye strain. Easy to install and set up.Improvement Points: I may have missed this when reading the spec. at purchase, bit I didn't know it had a HDMI cable, so I purchased one then I later returned to the store.
