Lexar NM620 2 2280 PCIe Gen3x4 SSD 512 GB
This Lexar brand SSD has a 512 GB capacity and a M.2 80mm (2280) format. This disc uses the latest generation compact M.2 port. This SSD drive uses the latest NVME standard with PCIe interface, which allows simultaneous data transmission across multiple data lines. Thanks to this technology, the drive is ideally suited for those who work with large files, play computer games or deal with video editing. This SSD disk read speed (Sequential read speed) is 3300 MB/s. Keep in mind that "fast" disks without a proper cooling solution may not reach the speeds indicated by the manufacturer. The write speed (Sequential write speed) of this SSD is 2400 MB/s. However, if adequate cooling is not provided, "fast" drives may not achieve the speeds guaranteed by the manufacturer. The format of this SSD drive (physical size of the drive) is M.2 80mm (2280). The SSD drive has a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface. If it is inserted into an older interface slot, the potential speed of the drive will not be fully utilized, as the older interface will not provide sufficient data transfer bandwidth.

This Part is one of many New Parts for my first ever complete ground up build computer. All parts where selected for specific purpose for this build which will be my Media Centre PCfor my Home Theatre System once I get my gear set up.It's all new and running Windows 11 Professional as that's what I am generally use to, "Professional"that is. There is only one item I am still waiting on to arrive to complete this build which is a 3.5''front mounted Memory Card Reader Writer unit. Though I am considering an extra 120 Fan for thecase rear to add extra protection against over-heating, though unit is working great.First time using an M.2 HDD, and I wanted it as the Operating System Drive to leave space forfuture Additional HDD's for storage. Great M.2 SSD for the price. Solid speeds as expected. Obviously, not going to be the greatest NVMe drive on the market, but the value is incredible. Gave me a "performing better than expected" rating in UserBenchmark test. No complaints. 5/5

No complaints with the speed. I'm achieving read and write speeds of 2000Mbps.. you simply don't need anything faster.. in fact it performs better than my Samsung 970. AND.. its cheap!
For the price I paid this drive offers unbeatable value and fast speeds.I would assume that when this drive is not on sale there would be better similarly priced options. Advertised speeds don't mean everything; this drive scores lower in benchmarks than others. It's very good that Lexar backs up the reliability of this drive with a 5-year warranty.
This little drive works well for many things, The one I bought is currently being used to store games. If you have a drive like this and haven't got your operating system on it, you may want to try it. You will likely find things load a lot faster than before. (Stuff that's on the drive that is.)
Good value, works as it should. Just needing to see how long will product lasts. Overall great buy.
I upgraded my laptop with this ssd and its read and write speeds are double the laptop stock ssd. This was very suprising considering how cheap this ssd was at the time of purchase.Overall its a great buy for its price :)
Always superb safe packing. Good support on the couple of times I've needed it, in probably 20+ years of use (one of these was carrier problem)
Perfect for some extra storage! Not the fastest Ssd you can buy but if your still using hard drives this would be a great upgrade!
